Dr. Riedel is calming, compassionate and knowledgable. He was able to quickly and correctly treat my spinal problem after another surgeon had misdiagnosed and preformed unnecessary surgery. After meeting several neurosurgeons for evaluation, Dr. Riedel had a certain calmness that gave me the confidence that I had finally found the right surgeon.
My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Charles Riedel. I have been seeing him for two years now, and I was so pleased with his medical care that I referred my husband Gary to him a year ago. I have ALL the confidence in the world for his expertise and medical decisions. Not only does he take time to answer all of my questions; he also goes into explicit details. His mannerism is very compassionate, understanding and sincere. He has performed operations on many well known sport figures as evinced by the pictures of them on his office wall; also the sport figures testimony's of their gratitude to Dr. Reidel for the successful operation that he performed on them.
I have to say that my experience with the staff at VNS was not like the below reviewers experience. I got my appointment the day I called. Iâve gotten my medical reports in real time at no cost just by asking the front desk. Once when a visit had to be canceled I got a substitute appointment a week and a half earlier at the end of the day. I waited a while to be seen but so what? Dr Riedel diagnosed my issues and kept ordering PT with an extraordinary DPT at GWU Hospital until I was able on to control my neck pain and headaches with a home exercise routine. No surgery necessary. Truthfully he has to be the equal of the very best Neurosurgeons to be found in the metro DC area. And, he is a very nice man as well.
