Dr. Charles Paul Melone, MD

I’ve been blessed to have Dr. Charlie Melone literally save my life & quality of life twice! Both times with procedures that he innovated & invented himself, for which I am deeply & eternally grateful! My right-hand Scaphoidectomy with 4-Corner Fusion 10 years ago, and my left-hand Trapeziectomy with Dual Loop Ligament Reconstruction 4 months ago, are both working better than new, and pain-free! There was NO WAY the pain and function levels of either hand would have been bearable for very much longer. And not only did Dr. Melone solve these injuries, but he did both with his million-dollar-smile! It’s easy to appreciate the professional sports “stars” that Dr. Melone has successfully treated! But putting this beat-up old dirt-biker & snowmobiler “back in the game” has meant the world to me! A special: “Thank you Thank you!” with wishes for only the best to you & yours always! David S

I saw the doctor about a trigger finger. He was fine, he explained everything and answered all my questions. I took the day off to get my pre-op work and Covid test done 5 days before the surgery. The day before the surgery, literally one hour before the scheduling deadline, I get a call from the surgical scheduling coordinator that the surgery was being rescheduled to next week. The insurance approval was not granted because of a screwup and the coordinator didn't know until it was too late. Now I have to take ANOTHER day off to get ANOTHER Covid test, not to mention reshuffling my work schedule to accommodate their incompetence. Unprofessional and infuriating.

Dr Melone is the IT dr for scleroderma!! He is compassionate and well educated in scleroderma. He has saved my fingers that were affected by raynauds/scleroderma. He is a pleasure to be around and truly is a dr who loves his patients! His staff... Greg, Garrett, Joel and Celia are amazing too. Appointments do run slow sometimes but he is worth the wait! Dr Melone is meticulous and thorough. Absolutely recommend Dr Melone!

Are use talk to Malone for a hand surgery and it became contracted postop because he did not care for my hand properly. He refused to diagnose and treat. In addition he would make you wait 3 to 4 hours to be seen in eight office with no emergencies. He was rude and I’m professional and in my opinion not a great clinician I would never use them again, in fact I changed hands surgeons

When I arrived for my 11:30 am appointment I was told that I could go and get lunch as the wait was going to be a long one. I declined and waited in the office until 1:00. I had to leave to get to a meeting (people do have jobs Dr. Melone) so I was not able to see the doctor. It is inexcusable to make people wait this long when they have a scheduled appointment.

If you don't mind waiting for hours before you see Dr. Melone, then go ahead and book an appointment. Too bad I didn't see review after review commenting on how very long patient after patient had to wait to see him. I waited two hours then decided to leave. I am glad I left after seeing all these bad reviews! My advise, find another hand surgeon, which I already did, unless you have a day to sit and wait. h

This doctor and his staff are the best!

I recommend Dr. Melone for his skill as a surgeon, however I would only recommend you see him if you have an utter disregard for the value of your time.
