extremely frustrated with my experience. I was able to get an appointment the day after I called or was told I would have to wait multiple months so I’m happy I took the appointment. When I got there, I was the only person, but had to wait about 30 minutes just to be called back. While I waited, I heard an entire conversation between the doctor and the front staff because they were all yelling and he was discussing the fact that he will not have his staff miss treated. That’s great but extremely rude and inappropriate to yell while you have a patient in the waiting room. Made me very uncomfortable. Then it was another 20 or 30 minutes just discussing stuff with the nurse. I’ve spent last time discussing stuff before a surgery. She was slow as hell at typing everything into the computer, and at one point when I told her, I’ve had a double mastectomy, she started typing in vasectomy. Then she just her to her whole body and asked if I had it done everywhere. What does that even mean? If… you’re a nurse and don’t know what a double mastectomy as you should have your license revoked. Once I got taken to a room, he came in pretty quickly. He giggled through most of my appointment. Thought it was funny that I’m young, have tattoos, and apparently funny that I’m in pain as well. He interrupted almost every sentence I said. He asked me what kind of gastric bypass I’ve had. There’s only one type of gastric bypass. I asked him how my stool sample would work. He giggled and said I don’t know I just send you for it. You’re the doctor. You should probably know that they sent me home to do a stool sample and that I don’t have to do it in an office. I understand that bloodwork facilities will send you the results sometimes before the doctor gets a chance to look at them. However, I called a few days after I got the results and was told he was out of town. I called the next day which was Friday and was told he hadn’t gotten to look at the results yet but that I would hear from them. It’s now been over a week and as I write this early Wednesday morning, I was told yesterday they would call me Thursday to discuss the results. I had an endoscopy scheduled that canceled because of the experience. Now I’m having it done with a different doctor through Texas digestive. I was told unless something was really wrong that they will not be calling me about results and that I won’t get to follow up until November. I don’t care if nothings really wrong I’m not waiting that long to speak with someone. I don’t need a doctor if it’s constantly out of town. One of the women at the front on the phone is extremely annoying. She interrupts me every second and tries to say full sentences over me without even letting me get a word out. so unprofessional.

DR CHARLES PHAN AWESOME.. I 'VE KNOWN HIM FOR A LONG TIME.. ALWAYS THE SAME. I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.. EXCELLENT MANNERS, RESPECTFUL, AND EMPATHY..HIS STAFF ALL GREAT THEY WORK HARD TO DO AN EXCELLENT JOB..

Great staff. Dr. Phan is knowledgeable and thorough. Explained conditions well. Good bedside manner.

This place and this doctor are crooks. All Asian know them as fraudulent crook in southwest area so they had to move to another location! They will take your $ and he’s a very disrespectful doctor!

Dr. Phan is thorough, serious, instilling confidence in his abilities. I can go to anyone, and I choose Dr. Phan. Interesting to note that the poor ratings have to do with waiting time, office policies, language difficulties. I choose to have a highly competent doctor.

I was told I would be charged for a 2nd consultation because I did not have a procedure performed in 30 days from the 1st consult. $219 for consult and they want more?? This POLICY was never told to me and I was not able to have the procedure because Dr. Phan. was ON VACATION for 3 WEEKS. I have made 3 calls and received 0 return calls from the office manager and the Dr. refuses to address me.
