Charles Schibler was born in New Orleans and received his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in 1992. He performed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at LSU from 1995 to 1997. Having received his Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine in 1996, he received his Board Certification in Gastroenterology in 1998. He was recognized as a professional with outstanding abilities and featured in the Best Doctors issue of New Orleans Magazine.Dr. Schibler practices at the Westbank office of Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr. Schibler did my first colonoscopy. He addressed all of my concerns beforehand and made the experience as easy as it could have been expected.

Dr. Schibler and team are awesome. I’ve been going to him and his team for around 10 years. I’ll put like this he knows his stuff if you don’t understand he will explain it to you on your level. He’s a true and a great doctor. I do and will recommend him.

Very friendly, easy going and he was very informative about the procedure and what the outcome would be. I trusted him and his staff because they have a way of keeping you informed and took the fear away.

Really dislike Dr. Schibler. Would not recommend him. Comes off nice, but when your illness gets complicated he doesn't have what it takes. If you just need the typical medical care - fine. Need anything more than that run for the hills.
