Dr. Charles B. Toner, M.D., is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who has practiced dermatologic surgery throughout the greater Washington, D.C., and Baltimore region. Before entering medicine, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the submarine service. He later earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Toner completed his dermatology residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital and a fellowship in Mohs surgery in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During his 29-year Navy career, his final assignment was Chief of Dermatology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. He also served as Dermatology Consultant to the U.S. Congress. Dr. Toner is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
He now practices at Metro Mohs Surgery Center, an independently owned surgical practice dedicated to the precise removal of skin cancer and thoughtful, patient-centered care.
