Dr. Charles Umansky, MD

I had a breast augmentation performed by Dr. Umansky, which had scarred badly. For well over two years, he would perform little "Band-Aid" surgeries, indicating after each one that the scarring was fixable and would take time. The procedures made little to no improvement and my right breast looks severely deformed. He retired, and I have since gone on to two consultations and both surgeons indicated that this is fixable. It would require removing the implant, removing scarring and reinserting a new implant, basically starting over and doing it right this time. I didn't even consider suing him because he seemed kindly and concerned, and good people. But he ultimately did nothing, basically stalling until his retirement. With 30+ years in the business, he had the skill to fix this, but chose not to. Dr. Charles Umansky has sons who went into cosmetic surgery also, but because of this experience I would never recommend anyone to this office, ever.
