There's no irony that my blood pressure is elevated whenever I have an appointment with Dr Gunner. It spikes by the time I leave her office. Due to her demeanor I have not found a way to communicate with her in a constructive manner to address my various health concerns/issues. Many of them I have not even brought up because the few that have been diagnosed have not been satisfactorily or sufficiently addressed. As objective as I'm struggling to be in this review - I would rather live with all my health issues and self-diagnose/treat them on my own than to deal with her again. She has demonstrated that some of the horrible 'VA stories' are real. My faith in the VA remains; however, I will be changing doctors.

I would give zero stars if I could. Look at all the reviews and notice a pattern besides the one paid reviewer? Rude, condescending, and makes mistakes. These reviews are from men and women that made a career out of being yelled at, and being in the worst situations. These are no snowflakes. These are the people saying that she is an awful physician. I went for difficulty breathing and was informed that it was psychological and I should go to mental health. This diagnosis was given with no exam of breath sounds by Dr. Gunner. I was taken completely off breathing medications prescribed by a civilian pulmonologist, ( non VA ) I was admitted in the hospital a couple of days later and had to be placed back on breathing meds. I spent three days in the hospital because of Dr. Chelsea Gunner. Vets be very careful with this one she will get you hurt.

Dr. Gunner is professional and very focused. If you are patient and can wait a few minutes to get through the preliminary Q and A's, which will include a lot of typing on the computer, you'll be greatly surprised by Dr. Gunners knowledge and work ethic.

This is the most insensitive Dr I have ever met. She does not listen to you or your concerns and faces her computer the entire duration of the appointment. I have a hard time understanding how this woman is practicing medicine.

She has a terrible attitude. Very rude, condescending and doesnt care. My husband is the patient and anytime I said anything, it was like " how dare I say anything. I would not wish her on anybody!!

Worst bedside manner I have seen in a long time. Doesn't even look you in the face when she sees you. Felt like another number in her day to add to her paycheck she clearly doesn't deserve. Would never recommend to anybody.

Dr Chelsea R Gunner sits at the computer and doesn't listen to the concerns or information about recent auto accident and changes in health conditions. She did not look at the injured area looking for redness swelling heat or lumps. She raised her voice when I directly asked her why she was not more proactive and listening. She became loud when I stood up to leave when I felt she was not going to take normal actions and there was no use to remain there. Dr Gunner did not instill a sense that she cared about me and new growths after cancer surgery. I had to pay out of pocket to another doctor and when that doctor wanted to doing expensive testing I had to return to Dr Gunner and could not get the medical records transferred to my main file and she said she would read the file and decide what could go into my records.... very upsetting. The staff at reception for her clinic behave in the same manner... walked up to the window and I was not acknowledged as the clerk remained looking at… the computer and telling jokes to the other clerks.... and more ugly actions... a terrible experience and not the first time being treated in this manner.

Where ever she came from, she should go back there and leave medicine to doctors with compassion. She is not liked by most of her patients.
