Rude & Unprofessional Staff

My insurance company assigned Mr. Cheng Gonjon as my primary doctor. My tonsil were starting to get infected and I call to schedule a same day appointment. Since it was my first visit I wanted to ask some questions to make sure it was an office/practice that was going to feel comfortable with. I was greeted over the phone by an office assistant by name of Jannary(Don't know if this his her real name). After giving her my name and insurance information, I explain to her my condition and that I was in need to see to schedule a visit the same day. She agreed to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Gonjon the same day at 1:30PM. She stressed the importance of getting there on time which I can understand and agreed to. When I started to asked Ms. Jannary some questions (office hrs, wait time, does the doctor takes call after hrs) she brush me off, became defensive. I explain to her that it was my first visit and I just wanted to make sure that I was making the right choice choosing Dr. Gonjon as primary care provider. After the appointment was confirmed and I had already made arrangements to be there at 1:30PM. Ms. Jannary call me with a bad attitude to inform me that the office manager had decided to cancel my appointment without cause and that she suggest I choose another doctor from the insurance network. I told her that it was very unprofessional, a poor reflections of their office and that I was going to write a review of my experience. I am sure Dr. Gonjon is a fine and competent doctor with very good bedside manners but his office staff is casting a bad shadow over his practice.
