Dr. Chester D Zahn, MD

I think he is a smart and thoughtful GI specialist. My elderly mother was hospitalized with internal bleeding, and 6 or 7 specialists saw her but could not pinpoint the cause; finally Dr Zahn figured out that it was duodenal ulcer caused by H Pylori infection. He is very efficient and listens well to patient concerns -- 90% of his office staff are very helpful and nice. I won't speak of the 10%. I'm very glad we were assigned to him at the hospital. I was happy with the doctor's treatment of my mom, so I went to him for upper & lower endoscopy for myself that I put off for many years and the procedures went smoothly without any issues. At first I was concerned reading negative reviews online, but I saw that he went to Stanford Medical school, and had a good impression when we actually met him in person. He may not convey friendliness, but I think he is a skilled, competent and reliable physician who has the best interests of his patients at heart with sound judgment and… experience.

Basically told a woman to starve herself and said it was a good thing she was in too much pain to eat. Stay away from this madman

He yelling to patients ,not respect patients,very very rude doctor,don’t go his clinic, go to see other nice kind doctors.

I have never had a doctor yell at me. Doctors should be compassionate, but this doctor is the complete opposite. He is rude, arrogate, and scary. I will never recommend him or go back to him.

I just found out from my primary doctor he is noted for his weird temper. No wonder. I just got bad luck.

I was seen by Dr Zhan for Gastro problems and to get a colonscopy referral. I was shocked how he belittle and spoke down to me. Stopping short of calling me a liar! This Doctor had no compassion for me. Im an Educated man and this Doctor treated me with no Respect! Please go to another specialist! Watch, if you go see him you will see how he treats you. Patients need an understanding , informative, compassionate Doctor. Warning to those who seek his services.

He truly likes to arguing with patients, all aspects, showing arrogant attitude. His diagnosis ability seems to be very ordinary as other doctors. Do not recommend for sure!

Referred to this doctor. Word says he's great! Anyways, it was a great experienced. Some real viable solutions. Simply laid all the choices and approaches down and let me choose from them. He really respects the patient's decision. Exemplary follow up and reasonable pricing among the other competition. You really can't do any better. Stomach hurts?? This is the guy to see.
