Yup-been given ‘the look’ for a few things, my weight, forgetting to get land drawn & not calling when I was concerned. But I’ve lost weight, take my meds & feel great! I’ve never known such a compassionate MD!! She listens to me & I’ll listen to her.

I wouldn’t offer any stars if I could and not because I like to bash businesses for fun because I don’t normally speak I’ll of anyone but this office and their staff are frauds. I came in for what was supposed to be a new patient physical Covered by my insurance, she asked a bunch of questions which I answered honestly, mild concerns, nothing major. She did some procedures which have been done before and covered during a physics at other offices that I didn’t think anything of. I specifically told her this was to be a physical and nothing more and then left when she was done never to return again since the experience was not any more then sub-par. 1 year later I receive a letter for a copay, which upset me because it shouldn’t be. I called to clarify it and have them clear it, only to be left a vm saying what I allready knew, that they charged as a new patient consult visit which allready sounds fraudulent and unnecessary especially since I was very clear when I was there. then when I… called, obviously upset, they hang up on me after repeating the VM explanation then passed me to the office manager, Lillian, who then stated it was because she completed an EKG they deemed medically necessary due to BP ( mind you at this point she’s just making things up because I am perfectly healthy) so ofcourse as I explain to her (upset Ofcourse) that my husband got his physical charged correctly and why should I when I didn’t ask for all of that to be done she told me to go somewhere else and argue with the dual tone after which she hung up. They were obviously trying to get more charges out of me and considering how disgraceful and uncaring they were about it all, I’m sure they do it on the regular because she kept pressing me during the visit to do more and I kept saying no, I’ll come back if I have to. Terrible experience, awful service. I would wish it on anyone. I will be reporting to my insurance.

Dr. Nwangwu takes the time to listen to her patients and to examine them closely. She examines all possibilities and does not rush to a conclusion. I have been her patient for over fifteen years and are very satisfied with the care she has provided.
