I was treated for what I was told was a common retinal detachment that could be corrected with an in office procedure. That procedure failed. The next 4 surgeries did not correct the problem. I was told it was because he did not adequately clear the scar tissue. Another surgeon was able to attach the retia the first time. However, I now have damage from the retina being detached for so long ......over a year. I suggest getting another surgeon if you have a retina issue.
