Dr. Christi Jo Hunt, MD

The only issue I had was that I had to wait longer than I expected to have my procedure done. (2 months). However, I had it done in their outpatient clinic and was very pleased with the treatment and professionalism of the staff and anesthesiologist. I was nervous about not having it done in the hospital, but afterwards I felt that I had been able to go home sooner than if I'd had I had it done in the hospital. I felt well cared for & highly recommend Dr. Hunt.

Dr Hunt was very personable and acknowledged the problems I was having.. she listened to me.

Dr. Hunt is a great doctor. She always makes me feel at ease. Any worries I have she addresses and helps me to understand them. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hunt and her staff. I have always been treated with excellence, professionalism, and compassion by both Dr. Hunt and her nursing staff at both the Asheville and Arden locations. Dr. Hunt has seen me through a hysterectomy and diagnosis of breast cancer, and she has never failed to be attentive and compassionate to both my husband and me. She always takes her time, listens, and is always willing to help me feel better!

I would recommend Dr. Hunt to any female looking for the right OB/GYN. Dr. Hunt is very professional, caring, and down to earth.

For the past several years, I have been seen by Dr. Hunt in the Arden branch of Asheville Women's Health, and during that time I was never once seen within thirty minutes of my appointment time. The last two visits were the worst. In 2007 I had to wait an hour and thirty minutes, and my last visit I ended up waiting over two hours. I started just taking the afternoon off from work so that I wouldn't have to reschedule or return later than expected. After the 2008 visit, I received a bill for ten dollars because Dr Hunt refuses to charge the price the office negotiated with my insurance company. I sent the bill back refusing to pay for their incompentent scheduling. I understand that emergencies happen, but it would stand to reason that the office might show some concern for the patients and create space in the schedule. If they don't do that, then what is point of an appointment? In addition to the scheduling being inept, one has to make the appointment at least three months… out.
