Dr. Christian R Dequet, DO

I was disappointed. He was arrogant and facetious. Had snide remarks and put-downs. He didn’t listen or care what I was saying. Refused to let me continue a medication that was working well. The appointment was unpleasant and I left feeling disconnected. I was not important within this doctor/patient relationship. I will not see him again.

This doctor diagnosed me (stating 99% sure) with a rare condition that required expensive medication and follow up, but left me hanging while he was out of town and during subsequent visits. He made every excuse for not "being" my treating physician and blamed every staff member and physician for making it hard for him. He had to ask "other" physicians more often than not, but never followed up, then avoided me up until I made the last appointment ... he was leaving the state in a week without letting me know. He wanted nothing to do with me or my care. No adjustments, no further testing, nothing. Warm at the first visit, standoffish during all subsequent visits, and then cold as ice when things didn't go his way. I can tell he was lying after the first. Then my diagnosis was altered in the end. I was always professional and courteous. I should never have had to go through this.

We met Dr Dequet, from a referrral with our Hand/Wrist Doctor, who wanted to rule out, any Rheumatoid causes for my pain. From the very beginning of our hour long session, we were extremely impressed with his knowledge, caring & how thorough he was in his evaluation. Never has a Doctor taken the time, to talk to us like this, & question all aspects of my life, to get a complete picture of what was going on with me. My husband was blown away with Dr Dequet. He stated, that he would love to have him as our primary doctor, if he did that sort of thing. We would highly recommend Dr Dequet to anyone & everyone, in need of his specialtys. Thank you so much!

Dr. Dequet went through a very thorough work up during my visits. I was impressed with his attention to detail. I highly recommend him.

He seems to be truly caring, not just going by the book, but also checks and asks many questions. Gives me a feeling of being well cared for.

Stay away. He is crazy, rude & ignorant.

I saw Dr. Dequet on recommendation of another physician. The first visit was impressive. Excellent history-taking and showed real concern. I did think it was a little bit strange that he examined me briefly and stated that I had a certain condition. He ordered tests. On my return visit I would have thought I had a different doctor. Asked why I had come to see him repeatedly. Didn't address anything he brought up in the first visit. Said I had something on a test that was life-threatening. Didn't apparently have what he originally stated I had either. Didn't seem to know what to do with me ---- strangest visit to a doctor ever. Not going back.

I hightly recommend this doctor !. I wish I could use him as my primary. He's very caring & even found out about a problem I didn't know I had & it wasn't his area. He's the BEST!

Thorough, prompt, and very caring doctor. I suffered with gout for 3 years before I found Dr. Dequet, and he literally saved me from being trapped in a wheelchair the rest of my life. The process of treating my disease was slow, but Dr. Dequet encouraged my patience and eventually my gout has been controlled. No flare-ups in over 5 years.
