Dr Christian Lattermann, MD

I fell for his sales pitch for knee surgery. That was four years ago. I have more pain than before the surgery. During multiple follow-ups, his work was perfect and it was my fault for being in so much pain. Don't understand that logic but not surprised after doing more in-depth research on his connections with device manufacturers. Quackery.

I had multiple visits with Dr. Latterman to try to find an alternative to knee replacement, due to a congenital knee problem. He spent time with me to explain my options and has an excellent manner with patients. He did surgery to explore the condition of my knee, and ultimately it was determined that I needed a knee replacement, but I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knee surgeon.

Dr.Lattermann exceeded my expectations and successfully diagnosed my condition after three months of debilitating knee pain. Having gone to 5 surgeons who were not able to correctly identify my issue, I am eternally grateful for Dr.Lattermann and cannot recommend him highly enough. My surgery was a success and thanks to him I am able to return to my office as a Chiropractor, something I thought I would never do again!

Dr. Lattermann is a great doctor! MY wife had surgery several years ago on her knee.Dr Lattermann went above and beyond what anyone can expect . When she was in horrible pain after surgery he answered my email and even called me to help with suggestions, this was around midnight! He consulted with other specialist.My wife's condition is to complicated to explain here but I would highly recommend Dr. Lattermann

Like a previous reviewer, I am in my Mid 50s with a meniscus tear resulting in pain. NO pain before the tear. He did x-rays on both knees and his interpretation of both left and right knee is identical in his notes.....BUT only pain in the one with the tear. So either that means I do indeed also have cartilage loss in both knees, (identical) but one knee is asymptomatic, or he just copied and pasted his findings for the left knee to the right. Suggested I get an OA brace and that was it. Trying to get a second opinion.

This doctor ordered X-rays on me simply to satisfy his curiosity about a spinal condition that was unrelated to the condition for which I came in to see him. He refused to do knee surgery b/c of my age (mid-50s). The information and support provided in conjunction with treatment (a shot of something) was nonexistent. He told me to buy a brace and walked out of the examining room. No one else in the office could tell me what he meant, and he had simply disappeared. I continue to have knee problems, and am told by friends that the knee is now not "centered" but rather points off in a direction. Dr. Lattermann's "bedside manner" essentially made me feel like a lab rat. A younger person with a sports injury might have a much better experience with him.

Have been sering Dr. Latterman now for just over 2 years, complicated knee issue, he has done 5 out of my 6 surgeries. I learned quickly where I received the best care, would not go anywhere else. Dr. Lattetman as well as all of his staff go out of their way to assist you and learn those little details about you that make all the difference in the world when you are the patient. In 2 years worth of appointments, I have waited once. Surgery times you can about set your watch on him and his staff. No question is dumb, and the other reviewer is right, he does answer his e-mail in a very timely manner. UK sports Medicine, just a great group of folks that are always happy to help!

Dr. Lattermann is by far the most excellent doctor I have ever received care from. He is brilliant, up on the latest research, and goes above and beyond to care for his patients. He explains everything so well & is kind and caring. He even returns emails! I've never had to wait over 10-15 minutes at an appointment. One of a kind among doctors today.
