Dr. Christina Maria Gomez, MD

I am a cancer patient and I meet with Dr Gomez every 3 months to review my care and scan results. On my second visit I had scheduled with her. She did not show up to the appointment. This meeting was to go over some complications I had messaged her about as well as my recent scan results. After waiting 45 minutes in the back room for her to show up. I asked if the when the doctor would come to my meeting and if she was even at the office. The nurse looked annoyed at me and told me she was not even in the office and did not know when she would return. I asked her to contact the doctor by phone to get a status and it was as if I asked the impossible. The staff was uncaring and made me feel like I was not important. How could a doctor not show up for such an important appointment and why would the staff not notify me or try to reschedule with me. I left with a promise she would call. Of course she still has not called.
