Dr. Christina Pieper-Bigelow, MD

Seemed to be in a hurry and had passive aggressive remarks.

The whole staff was swift and accurate. I enjoyed the time spent there. I love Dr. Bigalow she was amazing... She put me right at ease.

Where to start... She did not solve nor even try to pursue a solution to my problem (still on going). Every time I've seen her (a number of visits over a 6 year period for two different ailments) she is condescending, cold and indifferent as if she doesn't care and that you're just another patient to run through the mill. She is horrible about following up procedures and explaining what she saw. My last visit she didn't even come in after the procedure, all I got was a letter.She, on two different appointments, asked me in a snarky manner "what are you doing here?" as if I was there for pleasure. And I was told that in her expert opinion I did not need to be seen, despite the top ER doctor at Regina, Dr. Erickson, as well as the top radiologist at Regina and a gastro. specialist at Regions Hospital that said I should be seen asap.On a separate note, my fiance's grand mother went to her for a colonoscopy due to some difficulties and a blockage. Bigelow did not scope beyond the blockage… and said nothing was wrong. She died a few months later from colon cancer. Nothing wrong, huh?Again, Bigelow is a horrible and conceited doctor. Unfortunately for the people of Hastings, she is the only specialist here.
