She is AMAZING! I’ve had issues with my lady parts for since I was 19, no other physician was able to Identify my issue. After becoming pregnant with twins two years ago I had complications but no one’s fault. I went back in to see her because my problems from when I was 19 had gotten worse. She took her time and diagnosed my problems , during each treatment she explained and treated what was happening with me. I am so bummed and saddened that she is leaving the current place of employment. She truly is one of a kind

Dr. Jackson is amazing! If you want someone who is going to be honest, care about your health and wellness for you and your baby this is your doctor! She is real with you about “if you do this, this will happen” she is wholistic, and helped me with my diet and exercise to ensure that me and my baby were healthy and I completely avoided being diabetic and helped me lower my blood pressure to avoid hypertension while pregnant because I took her word and changed my diet for the safety of my baby since I was high risk. She was proactive while other doctors wanted to just be reactive after labor and give me a blood transfusion since my iron was extremely low. She helped save my life and the life of my little one! Because she helped rush me getting iron infusions while pregnant I didn’t even need a transfusion after giving birth and now I’m not anemic postpartum. Beat doctor ever! I recommend her and I can’t say enough, she listens and gives the best advice for your baby and situation.

It has taken me a while to get on here and write my review because it is still so upsetting to me. I wouldn't even do it if I didn't know it could possibly help others out there from finding real doctor who cares about you as a person, not just another body for a paycheck. Meeting her, she seemed relatable, friendly, took time with me and made me feel as though she would be this way during my labor and delivery. That was important to me. I wanted someone I could trust. And i relied on her friendliness which was stupid I guess. I was having a induction and she told me to be at the hospital at 6. By almost 9 I had started petocin and she still had not arrived to the hospital. Nurses assured us she was on her way. Immediately after starting petocin my baby didnt respond well and we lost her heart beat. Doctors and nurses rushed in, they give you a shot to stop contactions and move you every possible way to find a heartbeat. All you can do is pray and cry. Finally they found it and I was… petrified to start that again. I wanted my doctos opinion but she was still "on her way." We got the opinion of the doctor who was on the floor and she took the time respectfully to hear my concerns about starting again and answered all our questions. Maybe around almost 11, Dr Jackson comes in and i can immediately feel an attitude behind her smiles and her act of excitement that "we are having a baby today!" The nurse and I and family explained what happened and she talked in an extreme arrogance to any question. This is something that is VERY important as a mother and you have every right to want to know every thing about petocin and the interactions with your unborn child. She came across as entitled and annoyed by why we as a family were extremely reluctant about turning the petocin back on. And her smiles and any "comfort" was screamed fake. Weather she had a bad morning or not, this is life or death. I agreed to put it on low, and it happened again. Doctors and nurses flying in another shot to stop contractions. My mother in the corner praying. My husband powerless and once again i am praying to God we hear her heart beat. The lord helped us find it and this time the doctor on the floor, not Jackson, ( idk where she was) broke my water so that she could place a heart monitor directly on the babys head for more assurance. I was told by this doctor that it is possible the baby is having a bad response to the petocin but that she could also be squishing the umbilical cord. Either way it was terrifying!!! And my entire body was uncontrollably shaking with the trauma. I was scared oiut of my mind and Dr Jackson came in extremely unconcerned or caring, and like she is a God she spoke to me like she knows it all eve though all the proof was right in front of her she wanted to be right. She even argued with me at one point about exactly when her heart beats started to lower and the nurse ( a great nurse, which im sure she got talked to by her after about it) interrupted her arguing with me about what happened and showed her that I was right by pointing to the direct spot on the paper for the heart monitor. THAT tells you a lot!! I am not saying doctors cant have bad days or be on their best everyday, I am a very understanding person but this is your babys life and yours. You dont want someone who will go out of their way to argue with you about something that is pertaining to the risk of your baby's life, just so they can be right. AWFUL. On your most vulnerable of days ever. After a lot of going back and forth with her, I told her "i dont want petocin anymore," "I dont feel comfortable." Even though she keeps telling me otherwise, that it is perfectly ok, the facts show me something is wrong!.I said "I don't mind allowing for myself to have the baby nuturally at this point and just let nature take its course, I dont care how long it takes, her safety is more important." She told me " Come on , its not the petocin, were gonna have a baby today, i promise, its all gonna be great." Horrible, I wasn't even in my right mind, I just wanted to do the right things. On top of the fact my epidual didnt work properly so i was numb every where but where it is most necessary so i could feel every thing! I was in so much pain and i didnt expect that at all. I had two children before and i never felt a thing. This wasnt her fault, but when I FINALLY was pushing the pain was the most unbearable pain of course and I was begging her to help me by giving me an episiotomy, just give me a little slit ( i have had before, easy clean, heals great nothing to it) she refused no matter what. Even my mom begged her and asked why?! She said " i dont do that because it actually heals better if it is torn." So i ended up ripping apart UPWARD all the through my labia to my clitoris. It was like she wanted me in pain. She did such a hack job sewing me up stitches fell out as soon as i got home. I immediately made an appointment with another doctor in the "wonderful" facility of health first, but with Cartechine. They all have each other's backs. Instead of helping to fix the open slit in my labia where the stitches fell out and rectifying a mistake, she prescribes me a hormonal cream to quickly heal it so that it cant be restitched. I begged her to please fix it and she told me she would have to completely tear me apart again in order to fix the slit. I was so angry. This is my body! She even went as far as telling me "dont worry not any guy would notice." I said "I NOTICE!" I don't expect to look perfect after having a baby, I have normal expectations but I don't expect to be mutilated! I immediately made another appt with another doctor in there trying to find someone to help me. This doctor was Johnson, and she downplayed it at first and had her back. I tried leveling with her, "as a woman would you be okay with this?" Mind you i am in p

Dr. Jackson is by far THE BEST OBGYN I have ever experienced. I refer all of my friends and family to her and quite literally trust her with my life and know she has my baby's health and my health as her top priority. Being pregnant and giving birth are two of the most vulnerable and emotional experiences in life. I love Dr. Jackson's bedside manner - you can tell she takes the time with patients (we are not just a number for volume) and she explains medications, processes, good things we can do to help have a healthy pregnancy and baby, what to look out for - even things that are hard to hear. It is all done from a place of - "let's get you and your baby through this as safely and healthy as possible." She is beyond dedicated - she personally called to check up on me multiple times - after a tough procedure. She even came out of maternity leave to perform a surgery for me - and this is after she discovered a high risk issue that my former OBGYN missed. Her methods are… research based - she reads EVERYTHING - and she will give you the unbiased risks and benefits of options. Her bedside manner is extremely calm and reassuring, while providing her trustworthy, reasearch-backed and experience-backed guidance. Her attention to detail and follow up is superb. If you have the privilege of becoming a patient of Dr. Jackson's, you and your baby will be in the best hands!

PLEASE SHARE PLEASE SHARE Dr. C Jackson at Health First thinks it is her place to play god, in short she told my wife ( a high risk pregnant person) to take medication that her psychiatrist ( who has been treating her for 8+ years) was 150% against her taking. Not only did she get mad that my wife's psychiatrist told her under no condition should she ever take that medication but she made comments that "if you don't go to ***(local hospital)*** your baby could die" and when asked about the chances for preterm she said "your baby will be born early but depending how early will determine if we can save it" mind you my wife had given birth to 28 week twins less than 2 years earlier and had a very traumatic experience with their delivery in said hospital. Everything from emergency c-section to babies in need of transport to higher level NICU because they were unable to provide care (after fighting for 10 days to get the babies transferred, it took a life threatening illness to… get them moved). The icing on the cake... she broke HIPPA by discussing my wife's medical condition in the hallway where patients were present. Along with passing around a letter with no regard to patient confidentially or privacy. She very clearly spoke about my wife having PTSD from her experience during the delivery and subsequent 3 months at the NICU with our twins. Not to mention she spoke about medication and doses while standing at the nurses station adjacent to the patient rooms passing around a note my wife asked her treating psychiatrist to send to health first. Then the kicker to it all, when my wife made a complaint to the office manager she was told "wait until Tuesday for a resolution" wanna guess what it was... Yup.... Dr Jackson sent a letter dated on Tuesday kicking her out of the practice for making a complaint about her actions. A medical doctor should never be able to treat a patient with such disrespect.

I had to have a C-section with my baby, and Dr. Jackson ensured that everything worked out perfectly for baby and for me! She also took the time to stitch me up really nicely! I feel grateful that she conducted my surgery and delivered my baby!

Dr Jackson saw me for my 24 week check up. I exercise 4-5 times a week, eat healthy, have delivered a child with the practice before and am a relatively easy patient. She came in and asked how much weight I had gained before addressing anything else in the visit (I had gained 18 pounds at 24 weeks, she did the math incorrectly and thought I was at 25+ pounds). Before confirming my weight gain she went into a speech about how I shouldn't gain anymore weight and I needed to not eat so many oreos (I never mentioned eating cookies at all). She was extremely rude and degrading, even after realizing her calculation on my weight gain was incorrect. I love the doctors at Health First- Dr Kelly delivered my first baby and was such an amazing doctor, Dr Tobia is always extremely friendly and ready to answer questions, and Gwen is one of my favorite people to visit. It is really sad to me that Dr Jackson gives me second thoughts about continuing with this practice...
