My son was diagnosed with a rare heart disorder-part of the SADS disorders (sudden death) and I was told I MUST have a drug challenge test (EKG will not necessarily show even after extended time). Dr. W was told this when I met with her. She was told about my sons diagnoses. She schedules a 30 day holter and Im told I'll get a call about scheduling the challenge test. Two weeks later i get a call from her office she is going to hold of, when I ask why I'm told i can discuss at next visit. I ask for her to call me back and tell me and am told the same thing. I waited another six weeks and then I travelled 50 min (& back after) and waited 50 min. in her office to find out she didn't schedule b/c she couldn't find in my sons papers where it said he had the rare disorder and she hadn't reached his Dr. (my sons Dr always calls me back usually the DAY I call.. but after two months she hadn't reached her?!) THERE WAS NO OTHER REASON FOR THE APPOINTMENT. I have lost countless days and… nights and work caring for a special needs child and she had only 1/2 his papers (she forgot the other half at her OTHER office... ????? this COULD have been cleared up w/out wasting my time with a single simple phone call. If she had talked to his Dr, called me, or had all the paperwork in front of her (instead of just half) it could have been cleared up.. but i shouldn't have had to go all the way to her far away office and then wait almost an hour just to hear that she couldn't schedule a test because she DIDNT DO HER HOMEWORK! i told her just how i felt too... how dare she waste half my day... i've lost SO much time caring and advocating for my son... way too much for something that could have been cleared up on the phone... it felt like she needed to make the appointment to make an extra buck! NOT like she cared at all about the patient... now i'm on to find ANOTHER Dr to do this test... again more waiting to make sure I don't have this deadly disease... more risk to myself and my child. SHAME ON YOU Dr. WJASOW!

I was referred to Dr. Wjasow for a second opinion about needing an ablation and the longterm management of afib. I was very satisfied with her knowledge and experience in the field as well her thoroughness. She took her time to review my health records and study my case. Once we met in her office she took her time meeting with me and explaining her clinical opinion/findings. she provided me with a well thought out explanation and plan for treatment.
