Dr. Christine Aziz, MD

Wow. I just read some previous reviews. Sure wish I had found them before I tried getting an appointment. I went on line. Found where I could schedule an appointment. Clicked on new patient. Got an appointment within a week. Just days before the appointment I received a call from her office stating new patients could not book an appointment online. (So.. why was it even an option?)She canceled it. Said I had to fill out some paperwork first. I said. " OK. Send it". She informed me that first she had to inform me of meds the doctor refused to prescribe. I'm 73 and have NEVER heard this before. So.. she rambled about 20 prescriptions the doctor refused to write scripts for. First thing was controlled substances. I didn't understand most of the drugs she said... I did catch the words ADHD and pain killers.... wondered of she thought I was some druggie... all I wanted was a doctor to help me with this cold and sinus infection ...not drugs. I have no intentions filling out any… papers. No intentions of going to this office.EVER. I didn't even get into the office, but knew it was not for me. It was obvious they didn't care any way.

Better hope you do not have a fever becuase they will not see you only virtually. Better off finding another doctor or going to urgent care and pay for only 1 visit instead of 2. Looks like this office only care about money and not the patients.

This is more a comment about the system for which she works: I"ve never been able to meet Dr Aziz. Based on the referral by AdventHealth, after my existing AdventHealth practitioner, Dr Judith Mathura, left the Advent system, I attempted to make a "new patient" appointment online with Dr Aziz, which was confirmed. Dr Aziz's office contacted me and canceled, saying they are "no longer accepting patients from Dr Mathura's practice. I called the office to make an appointment. They were willing to do so until I gave them my name, which they recognized from just canceling my online appointment. They told me they contacted me to cancel the appointment I made online because Advent scheduled it and they couldn't accept new patients who were already in the Advent system because that left no space for new patients (I assume new to the Advent system), or existing patients. "So what am I, chopped liver?" I will definitely find a provider OUTSIDE Advent, and were I to have to be hospitalized.

Both the Receptionist and the Dr. Aziz lack “bedside manners”. The Receptionist is rude, and should not have that job. The Doctor does not take notes and therefore, cannot follow up on a condition you spoke about on the previous visit.

I had a great visit as a new patient. The staff was friendly and the doctor took her time getting to know me. They did have to get my records before scheduling my appointment, but I think it made the first visit much more meaningful with that, since the doctor already had something to review for my medical history.

I'm a 60 year old female who has been a RN for 38 years. Therefore, I'm familiar with the medical field & all types of physicians. This is a very small office, regardless of having an appointment your wait time could be as much as 30 minutes without anyone else in the waiting room or explanation of why you're waiting. The Staff, which appears to be 2 people, receptionist and medical assistant, are some of the rudest people I've ever encountered. When I called the office to follow up a recent appt, in regards to a medicine question, which could have been answered on the phone, I was told I needed to make another appointment. When I questioned the Medical Assistant she very rude!! At my next appointment I was treated as if I was a "trouble maker" when I mentioned this to Dr. Aziz, her response was that "we're a small office and everyone knows everything" I saw Dr. Aziz as a new patient who recently located to the area, she never ask me to undress, my physical included collecting… verbal data And listening to my lungs, heart and my carotid pulse. I advise you to look elsewhere for a caring and capable physician,

Twilight feel Christine Aziz a good Dr and cares about her patients per staff is rude belligerent they do not call in the medications when they're supposed to accuse you of picking up medications they never called in very discourteous to their patient

Dr. Aziz is wonderful. She really listens when I am describing my symptoms, does not prescribe when not necessary. She explains everything as she is examining me which makes me feel more comfortable. I especially appreciate that she explains my treatment when treatment is necessary. She is the best Doctor I have ever had in my 61 years.

AVOID this doctor if you can. She argues with patients and rips off the health care system by forcing patients to go back to her office when the test results look normal. She tells the lab not to share your OWN lab results with you because she wants to charge you over again. Not sincere and unethical!
