Dr. Boutwell is a very compasinate person who takes time to listen to her patients concerns.

during appointment i had been waiting for well over a month waiting in excruciating pain she said few words offered no insight only ordering an mri and blood work. Waited over a week for mri. i was told it was read on the spot. i called several days later and was told there was nothing time sensitive on mri! I am none functional to me no matter what the results it is time sensitive. They would not give me any info and told me i would have follow up with nurse practitioner another week and a half wait. My appointment was canceled day before by voice mail and now i have another weeks worth of waiting. I have no idea if she is good or not but at this rate i wont know anytime soon. SHe did say in appointment that she couldn't believe i only waited a month to see her she sounded proud about saying her wait list is 6 months. I dont know if it is normal to wait this long to see a neurologist but it really sucks when you are in extreme pain and exhaustion.

It is hard to get an appointment to see Dr. Boutwell, but well worth the wait. If you don't have the time to wait for an appointment, then go to your local ER for help, until you can see a neurologist. I went to see her after my neurologist failed to do follow up tests that the radiologist recommended after reviewing my abnormal MRI. She is very caring & compassionate & actually spent time asking me questions during my exam. Something no other doctor had done up to this point. I still don't have a diagnosis, but I am sure I will have an answer soon, since further tests have finally been ordered.

Should not be accepting new patients. Office can not handle the patient load she has. I had an appointment a year ago that she canceled and I am still waiting to be reschedualed on the "wait list" Now I am left with no meds and no appointment in sight. Guess i will just suffer without treatment. Thanks! As a Dr she is great but you will die before you get an appointment. Don't get left high and dry just go somewhere else.

Dr. Boutwell takes weeks to return next day results, then leaves town without completing notes required for work clearance, and has a computer call to cancel her appointments and tell you that you're on the waiting list for 4 months from now.

VERY EXCELLENT GOOD AND CARING DOCTOR ALWAYS HAVE A SMILE SHAKES HANDS AND LISTENS TO YOUR ACHES AND PAINS VERY EFFICIENT VERY VERY HAPPY THAT I FOUND HER WENT THRU TOO MANY DOCTORS FOR MY BACK THIS IS THE BEST ONE.
