Dr. Christine Hema Darwin, MD

On first visit Dr Darwin spent about an hour carefully examining & studying my records. She made changes to my medications and made recommendations. She is very kind and thoughtful.

I saw Dr. Darwin from 2010 to 2014 while living in LA. I found her to be knowledgeable and caring. We had a good relationship. She prescribed Cymbalta due to my stress level and it helped. She showed interest in my overall health and well-being and actually documented (in my medical record) on one visit my stress level due to work and having to miss a department meeting for the visit. Not too many doctors would do that. Having her as my endo is one of the few things I miss about life in LA.

My experience with Dr. Christine Darwin was extremely unpleasant. My first impression of her was that she was most likely suffering from dementia and that she should not be allowed to practice medicine any longer or be around patients. She was disorganized and very difficult to have a coherent conversation with. I do not think she knew what she was talking about with regards to my illness and medications. Darwin was also extremely rude to the point of hostile, defensive, and I felt very uncomfortable being in the room with her.

I was in the middle of treatment, had a follow up appointment, went to the office and was told that she was not seeing clients and had no referrals. I thought she died!!

Rudest doctor, terrible with patients. I saw her once and will never go back. I saw an excellent doctor prior to moving to LA and she disregarded everything he documented and took me off medication that left me feeling horrible, the didn't believe me and accused me of making it up. Don't go see her.

Best Endocrinologist I've had in 24 yrs of being Hypothyroid. This doctor is knowledgeable, experienced, & caring. She listened & understood my unique problems, then worked with me to correct years of mismanaged care.

I am changing my doctor! I went into depression because of the medicine she gave me and could not reach her to ask my questions. She does this so you have to make an appointment with her and tries to get you to spend extra money.Doesn't explain the possible side effects and other options properly. Not happy right now
