Dr. Christine Gilliam, MD

I had a great experience here! The staff got me in quick, they were professional and friendly! Dr Christine Gillam read my CT scan, diagnosed my problem. Came up with a treatment plan that I am not only happy with bit confident it will get me back to being healthy and happy!!! Thank you Dr Gillam!!

Dr Gilliam was rude and patronizing and after several visits I saw 0 improvement in my problems.

Went to dr for 2 problems one of which she refused to consider(sinus infection) she was In such a hurry it was a total waste of my time, won't be going back there said my throat problem was probably from acid reflux

Christine Gilliam is the "Dream Doctor." Her care for her patients as an ENT is beyond compare. I have never received better or more comprehensive care anywhere. She performed surgery on me to correct a serious sinus blockage and repaired my badly deviated septum. The results were beyond imagination. Her concern for her patients is admirable, and she is never in a rush to get on with other appointments. She gives you all the time you need to ensure proper care. In addition to Dr. Gilliam, the staff she has assembled is stupendous. You truly feel like you are at home with each and every member. They are always professional, courteous, and above all like members of your family. The experience of going to this office should be the standard for any medical facility.

I don't even know where to begin. This doctor was terrible and should not be practicing! We took our toddler in because she had some fluid behind her ears a few months prior. First of all, Dr. Gilliam came in and never even introduced herself. She marched straight over to our daughter without even letting her warm up to her first. All she did was look in her ears with a light, and said "She has fluid and needs tubes." When we asked her how bad the fluid was, her response was "It's definitely there". What kind of an answer is that?! We were so frustrated, that we took my daughter to a pediatric ENT (Donald Moe) for a second opinion. My friend recommended him and he was wonderful with my daughter! They did an actual test on her ears to check for fluid (which Dr. Gilliam NEVER did!!) and she had NO fluid in either ear!! If we had listened to Dr. Gilliam, we would have put our child through an unnecessary surgery! Awful! Also, she did not listen to anything we told her. When… we brought the notes home from her office and read them, we noticed she stated our child had had "numerous ear infections and was in daycare". Our child has never had one single ear infection and she has never been in daycare. She stays at home. Dr. Gilliam didn't even listen to what we told her! This doctor is a total quack and is just money hungry! Do not waste your time or money. We sure wish we hadn't! I wondered how she had so many available appointment times when I called. Now I know why!!

Dr. Gilliam gave me an excellent experience while I was there she is very polite yet overfishing she has an excellent bedside manner her staff was very helpful and also efficient. If I had to recommend a great ear nose and throat doctor here in San Antonio dr. Gilliam is the first person to come to mind. If you're having any issues in the ear nose and throat category I truly 100% recommend Dr. Christine Gilliam.

Her staff was very caring, and helpful. She was wonderful with my daughter even though she was cranky and sleepy. I was very impressed.

I went to see Dr. Gilliam because of a sinus infection in 2008. When I went in for my appointment I had a hard time checking in because the receptionist was flirting with her boyfriend who was blocking the patient window. It took her about 10 minutes to even acknowledge my presence. After the boyfriend stepped away from the patient window I finally was handed the paperwork that I needed to fill out. And after filling out my paperwork and giving it back to the receptionist I had to wait another 30 minutes before the nurse called my name despite being the ONLY patient in the waiting room. The nurse was very moody and rude. When she was weighing me she laughed rudely and told me,"don't be too happy. The scale is off by 10 lbs." After that the nurse led me to the exam room and was supposed to spray a numbing agent in my sinuses, but she failed to numb me properly. When Dr. Gilliam finally came into the exam room she seemed very preoccupied. She asked what I was there for, and I… told her. She told me that she was going to 'scope' my sinuses to see if there were any issues. Dr. Gilliam then started to thread the nasal scope up my left nostril. And it was VERY painful because the nurse hadn't numbed my nose properly. I immediately told Dr. Gilliam that it was hurting, but she blew me off and told me this procedure wouldn't take long. Right after she said that, she hit the back of my sinuses with the nasal scope. At this point I was in so much pain that tears were rolling down face. When Dr. Gillaim saw that I was in so much pain that I was crying she simply smirked. After she was done 'scoping' my sinuses she retracted the scope and told me I had a sinus infection but that everything else was fine. I was given a prescription for antibiotics and then left her office. Dr. Gilliam obviously didn't see any problem with her POOR bedside manner, but it was the worst dr's appointment I've ever had. I will NEVER use her services again.

My daughter is almost 7-year-old and has been in nosebleed since she was 1-year-old. A few weeks ago, I brought her to see Dr. Gilliam. After a diagnosis, she recommended a cauterization treatment for my daughter. We did. Dr. Gilliam's performed excellent on the treatment. My daughter now doesn't have any more nosebleed and she even didn't feel pain after the minor surgery day. Dr. Gilliam is also very nice person and caring patients. Another point I really like Dr Gilliam is her office staffs are very courtesy and professional. I strongly recommend people to Dr. Gilliam.
