Dr. Christine Marie Seaworth, MD

DR Seaworth is a Godsend. She operated on my ankle which was a "total mess" from a traumatic injury. She worked closely with me on a solution prone to a successful outcome. She's impressive. I'm glad I found her.

After a slip and fall, I was taken to the hospital around 9:00 at night. I had surgery early the next morning where a titanium rod was inserted in the bone. I remember her coming to my room only once in the five days I was there. I had to go to rehab for two weeks to learn how to walk again. It's been two months now and my foot and lower leg are completely numb on the surgical side. I have no idea how long this will be numb, but I'm really frightened it will be permanent. I've only seen her p.a. since surgery, so I haven't been able to ask her, and her p a doesn't seem concerned. This is the reason for my score on this review. At least I'm walking now, but far from being pain free.

I had pain and swelling on an ankle that had previously been broken and had a plate and screws in it. My plans had been to participate in a 100 mile bike ride in a few days and I needed quick answers about what was causing my problems and if I should continue with my ride plans. Dr. Seaworth communicated with me the day before and explained a few possibilities for the pain and arranged an appointment for the following day. I was quickly seen the next day and once Dr. Seaworth examined my x-rays, she diagnosed the problem, no surgery required, and gave me a recommended course of action. Dr. Seaworth went way above and beyond the call of duty for me and I am extremely grateful for her professional, caring service.

She has helped me a great deal. She is knowledgeable and caring. I have done well under her care.

She is an excellent surgeon. She also presents a very caring attitude and listens to and answers questions very well. Highly recommend.

Five months after Dr. Seaworth (University Orthopedic Surgeons - Knoxville, TN) repaired my Peroneal tendon (left ankle) I'm about 95% back to my normal daily exercise and activities and feel like I'm making a little progress everyday. I'm very pleased with her knowledge, level of service and staff.

She has ruined my cousin's foot!

I broke my tibia and fibula at the ankle joint from a fall. ER visit on Friday, Ortho visit on Monday and surgery on Tuesday. 6 months later boot comes off cannot walk my foot is not perpendicular to leg and only the outside portion of foot is in contact with the surface and much pain through the ankle joint. the local Ortho said I can fix that and a 2nd surgery was scheduled to fuse the ankle. 6 months later the boot comes off and unable to walk the foot is still not square with the leg. Local ortho says I can fix that with more screws, I said no thanks 2 try's and no success, I am seeking another opinion. Found Dr Christine Seaworth in the Frontier magazine from UTMC Knoxville TN campus. Her excellent office personnel helped me provide medical records and short time later an evaluation visit was scheduled. It is not often a Dr wants to correct procedures from another doctor. she was very knowledgeable , caring and professional individual with excellent demeanor and manner. She… evaluated the problem and advised she could relieve the pain or at least make it bearable. Surgery was performed she cleaned the jagged bone and did a bone graft to make the foot square with the leg. Successful surgery and now I am walking with out the aid of walker, cane or wheelchair. The healing process is continuing and prognosis is excellent. Thank you Dr Seaworth for allowing me to walk normal again. I wish I had known about her before the first surgery from the local Ortho. Dr Seaworth you are my Hero and you have my trust and appreciation for a job well done

Dr. Seaworth was able to solve my foot and ankle problem when two previous doctors could not! I am so glad I consulted her. She was pleasant, efficient and diagnosed my problem that had been missed by two previous doctors.
