My first experience with Dr Heck. He explained everything and gave me a plan .

Waited a hour and 40 minutes after my appointment time in the waiting room, checked twice with no explanation and finally walked out.

If you want to be crippled for the rest of your life go to Heck!

I HAD BACK SURGERY AND HE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB , HAD HIM DO MY MOTHER'S BACK SURGERY. HE LISTENS AND ANSWERS QUESTIONS.

I Have had awful si joint pain for close to a year. Went to see Dr Heck and I had looked at his reviews before going and I did not have one problem with him. Dr Heck explained everything and took time to answer all questions. I did have surgery and so far I’m feeling so much better. My post-op appointment was great There again He went over what he did and showed me my X-rays Dr Heck does have a good bed side manner I highly recommend anyone having back/ si joint pain to see him. I traveled two hours and know I chose the right surgeon ! Mechell Mitchell

find someone else. failed surgery, ok-i get that any and all surgery has some risk but offer some hope when it doesn't work. won't admit that it didn't work. feel like i have been kicked to the curb and am bothering him. told no need to come back after it failed, wouldn't give any hope, advice and refuses to give referrals. OFFERS NO HOPE

Doctor has a terrible bedside manner. Talks very fast and wants a decision before any of the information has had time to soak in. States he is a trained physician and knows what I need! Consider the staff unfriendly and unwelcoming. At no time did they introduce themselves or try to put me at ease. I was sitting in a perfectly comfortable chair and was told to get up, and sit on the table, to make it faster for exam for Dr. Heck when he came in. Waited for 30 min uncomfortably on the table before Heck showed up and only wanted to give me 5 min of his time. I do not feel he was through on all my complaints.

Dr. Heck treated me poorly due to my insurance not being top notch. He recommended surgery for a bulging disk which four other doctors have since told me no one should want to perform surgery on. He was very short with me and spend as little time as I allowed. He could not explain any of my pain but could recommend surgery to fix it? My experience with this doctor was the worst I have ever had.

Today was my second visit. Very thorough examination. Took ample time--asked questions. Did not want to make any decision until he got another report from a previous Dr. Will review and call to discuss with me some options. Would recommend him.

I was not pleased at all with dr heck .. he was not open to explore other possible treatments .. felt I was being forced to have surgery or he was done. may be an excellent surgeon but has no bedside manner..
