Dr. Christopher Andres, MD

Quick, uncaring, and does not communicate. Very quick office visits and getting any kind of follow up or communications is like pulling teeth. The worst healthcare provider I have been to - ever.

After reading the previous rating I was dumbfounded. I have found this Doctor and office to be outstanding. My wait time has never been more than 15-20 minutes and his staff has been more than helpful to me and my family.

We used to think Dr. Andres was a wonderful family physician. He is friendly and great with his patients. If you never have a serious problem, you will most likely enjoy having him as your doctor. He is a genuinely nice person. However, when he missed a diagnosis, it resulted in long term damage. Another physician found the problem and got the right diagnosis, immediately. Informing Dr. Andres of this resulted in our mistreatment at the Guthrie Clinic from that point on. They ridiculed the other doctor's diagnosis, denying the problem. Further tests (scheduled by Dr. Andres) CONFIRMED the other doctor's diagnosis to be correct. Things only went downhill from there. Dr. Andres was usually polite, and some members of his staff were excellent, but some became incredibly offensive. The office constantly has scheduling issues. We ALWAYS had to wait a MINIMUM of 45 minutes, before being seen for a scheduled appointment. That, along with mounting mistakes and unprofessional behavior, finally… got to be too much. Without getting into too many specifics, we had to fire him and find a competent family physician, with an appropriately trained staff. We decided against hiring an attorney, but would never recommend this clinic to anyone.
