Dr. Christopher Costanzo, MD

Dr Christopher Costanzo double billed and double collected for my procedure and then refused to refund me the over payment of more than $4000.00. His off mgr christina told me I had to pay in full for my procedure before it's done, and that they do not bill insurance at all. I paid cash in full ahead of time. The night before my procedure they called me and told me to bring my insurance card so they can give my info to the pathologist so he can bill for his pathology tissue exam. But christina the ofc mgr went ahead and billed my insurance fir my entire surgery after already collecting payment from me in full ahead of time. Then she pretended she didnt know she did that, and she didnt know they had collected from my blue cross. She finally admitted they owed me a refund but then refused to give it to me and then they went out of business. Christina and Dr Christopher Costanzo are flat out crooks. I'm so sorry i ever went to such a pig. I knew he was rude and… egotistical and nasty to his front office girl, but I never knew he would steal my money. He is a scum bag.

At 77 years of age I decided to have major cosmetic surgery: I wanted my 30 year old silicone breast implants replaced and lifted, a mini face lift, and a tummy tuck. I went to Dr. Chris Costanzo, Thousand Oaks, Ca. I paid him in the amount of $33,200.00 for these procedures. The breast implants and the face lift were disasters, and the tummy tuck stitches were done in a most sloppy manner. The face lift resulted in one side of my face being noticeably higher than the other around the eye area. Dr. Costanzo tried to fix it, but couldn’t. Ultimately, I have had the left side of my face revised by another cosmetic surgeon in the amount of $5,000.00. The implants he put in were 75cc smaller than we had agreed upon. In addition, I ended up with an inverted right nipple (which sits 1/4 inch lower than my left nipple), my left breast also became smaller than my right breast with the implant sitting way too far to the left toward my armpit. Dr. Costanzo redid this job as… well, making things even worse. I now have a deformed left breast in addition to all of the same problems he left me with the first time. It has been over a year. The “good doctor” offered to redo my breasts again for the price of $8,700.00 (full price) CAN YOU IMAGINE THE NERVE OF HIM! Presently I am scheduled to have them reconstructed by another cosmetic surgeon in the area. I was told that there is nothing that can be done to un-do the damage which he created, but I was guaranteed that the results would be greater than 50% improvement from what I have now. Wish me luck, and stay away from Costanzo’s office. I have learned that in Dr. Costanzo’s opinion he is never wrong…it’s always someone else's fault. So, I expect his denial and excuses forthcoming on the above comments. All I can tell you is that this statement is made less for revenge and/or anger than it is from the hope that this will prevent him doing this to someone else.

You listened to my concerns and gave me options that I never knew were possible. Besides being an excellent medical doctor, you have an artist's eye, which is very important!! From my first appointment, to the surgery, and after, you and EVERYONE on your staff have been WONDERFUL. Thank you.

After achieving a weight loss goal, I ask Dr. Costanzo to do a tummy tuck on my sagging belly. (I had a large, vertical scar on my stomach from an exploratory surgery done at 7 months of age-I'm now 62, and the scar grew as I grew. It was punched into my belly with flabby skin around it--very ugly.) When Dr. Costanzo evaluated me for the tummy tuck, he confidently announced that he was going to cut that scar out. Lo and behold, he did just that and now I have this tight, flat tummy...and some very lovely breasts that he lifted in a combined procedure. I am dazzled with my outcome. So much in fact, that two months later I schedule another surgery with him to surgically tighten my upper arms. He is simply the best---my arms look wonderful and I am SO glad that I completed the total transformation because proportionately my arms match the shape of my slender torso. I couldn't be more delighted. There are simply not enough superlatives to describe his skillfulness and his vision. Choose… experience--choose Dr Chris Costanzo, MD!

I had a consult with Dr. Costanzo and decided not to work with him. He was arrogant, rude, and overall the experience was very unpleasant. He made me feel very uncomfortable.

I had a breast augmentation Thursday with Dr.Costanzo he's of Lynn rd. next to hospital. Him, his staff and surgical team are amazing, I never felt pressured, rushed or like they where irritated with me asking question and I asked a lot and called with a lot of questions. The pain for me was very minimal and wow they look great and it's been only 3 days. Of course yeah I had pain but nothing like I thought it'd be and swelling is defiantly there but of course everyone has swelling. The day after I was able to move around lift light stuff like cran apple juice to fill drink, I can't believe how great it went. My bruising is very minimal, him and his staff/team are really wonderful. I feel like they are my friends instead of feeling like I was just another client!

Very pompous and arrogant doctor. He and his staff are big disappointment. Will not have someone as uncaring as him perform my surgery. He made me feel worse about myself.

Dr. Costanzo performed a breast augmentation on me and did an amazing job! I love my results! He seemed to understand just what I wanted to get out of my surgery, and I couldn't be happier! He is the BEST and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a talented plastic surgeon!

I want to thank Dr Costanzo for restoring my confidence. My previous surgeon left me feeling uncomfortable in my own skin, but through Dr Costanzo's experience and expertise he made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process.I contacted his office after seeing his results on a friend of mine and I will definitely recommend him to anyone I encounter who is interested in this procedure.
