Dr. Christopher David Gordon, MD

If you are looking for an alternative to coercive, conventional forms of oppressive Psychiatry-- then look no further than Christopher Gordon. From his position your life has tremendous value. You are never treated as just as patient. He has a caring, relaxed approach which allows a patient's thoughts to flow freely. As a result you get very accurate, thoughtfully considered advice. He offers medications when necessary, but prefers exploring alternative solutions which can include Open Dialogue therapy. There is absolute transparency when other parties are involved. No meetings or conversations ever occur behind your back. He is the definition of an advocate-- and I was left feeling personally empowered during the most challenging time of my life.

I have been seeing Dr. Gordon for many years and have found him to be caring, courteous and extremely knowledgable. He responds to phone calls and emails immediately and, if needed, will see me right away. He has helped me find care for other family members and has meet with myself and my husband, to help me come to terms with his terminal illness. I have worked with several physiatrist over the past 40 years and have found none better. Quite frankly, I was shocked and saddened to come across this site to find anyone who has met the man and failed to see him in any think other than favorable terms.

This was my visit with Dr.Gordon: Throughout the whole ordeal, he barely made eye contact with me, but instead took notes; he interrupted me alot. He ended the session in a little under 20 minutes, I guess the 40 minutes I was in the waiting room counted toward the hour. It was very obvious to me by then, that this "Doctor" was about as uninterested in my problems as I wish I were. DEFINATELY AVOID!!!
