Dr. Christopher Randall Hove, MD

I was given price quotes for a face lift, brow lift and ear pining which were vaguely scribbled on a paper. I decided to just do the facelift at first. Payment was demanded in full and it was made for just the facelift, but when I arrived at the surgical center they were prepping for all three. I specifically asked for a Smas lift in which the muscle are moved up, Dr. Hove said after the procedure that it is basically a cut and pull, which my research says that it is rarely done anymore. I had a very painful recovery from the facelift. I mentioned this to the doctor. His response was, “That’s why they call it surgery!” Dr. Hove took until the next day to respond to my call. High raised and visible scaring on the back of my head, because it was stapled and not stitched. All post op appointments are scheduled with the nurse practioner, Melanie. Why would he not be eager to see his work? Dr. Hove said that he was discouraged that so many of his patients have unrealistic… expectations. Dr. Hove schedules his appointments for only 15 minutes and he strictly adheres to this. At times I felt rushed and my concerns were not addressed. Each time I underwent a procedure I was met by their opinion of how amazing I looked. Could it have been done in order to discourage any concerns that I had? I paid for Botox, but there were no results seen. Their response was,” You want to try again at an additional cost?” Dr. Hove encouraged me to do a mid-forehead brow lift instead of the endoscopic lift, which left a scar. My research shows that this is rarely done because of permanent scaring. I asked if the two incisions be staggered on different brow lines, which he said they would be, but then he put them on the same brow line. The frown lines remained, even though Dr. Hove told me that they would be diminished as part of the brow lift. This is mentioned on his website and all other surgeon sites. Hooding, more so on one side was also still evident afterwards. The eyes remain closed. Stiches were scheduled to be removed in 11 days rather than the standard 7 days as they were on vacation. My research says that mid-forehead stitches must be removed on time, so I had to go to an urgent care center. Dr. Hove charged me for a revision, which still resulted in very strong frown lines and asymmetrical outer brow skin draping. Dr. Hove promised me a chemical peel with the facelift and brow lift. He later did not recall this and said he does not give any free stuff as they cost money.

Dr. Hove and all of his staff are terrific! They helped me through a terrible situation. Dr. Hove’s skill is unbelievable. He fixed a wound on my nose and made it perfect. He also has a great personality and cares.

Dr. Hove is talented, kind, artistic, and an excellent technical surgeon. I recently underwent a quite extensive face, neck lift, and upper lid blepharoplasty. I am beyond delighted that I chose Dr. Hove, and HIGHLY recommend him. I also have the advantage of being a Surgical RN and had the pleasure of working with him a few years ago. I saw his surgical technique along with his kind demeanor, quite a rare combination. Thank you Dr. Hove and supportive staff!!!

i had a mini-lift done in 2010. my face was left horribly lob-sided. Dr. Hove's solution to this was "i will inject the right side of your face with botox to match the other side". was this perhaps done intentionally to force a single mother to purchase deadly botox for the rest of her life? I said "no thank you" and threatened court action- he then said he would redo but wanted more money. i persisted to threaten court action and we ended up he fixed my face for free but i paid 500 hundred to rent the operating room space. I think Dr. Hove thought I was stupid little Shiksah and tried to pull a fast one! CAUGHT!

I give this doctor A+ in every area of medicine. His approach to patients is excellent. He is honest, total knowledge of his field and Board Certified too! I came in as a last resort from my family doctor of what I thought was a chronic sinus problem. My doctor was treating me with all different antibiotics for 4 years. Dr. Hove had me get a Cat Scan of my sinuses. Absolutely no sinus infection but an infection of the membranes from using Afrin and nose drops all these years. No more nose drops and no surgery. His diagnosis and bed side manner is great too! He treated me like a family member.

I have seen Dr. Hove for over a year now. He is wonderful. He takes time with you and answers your questions. He is skilled surgeon, I recently had sinus surgery with him and despite a very complex procedure I had no swelling or bruising. I would highly recommend him.

I've had botox and filler injections at two other clinics and was not overly happy. But then I met with Dr. Hove and now I'm extremely satisfied. He listens to what I'm looking for and provides services and expertise that give me not only the results that I'm looking for, but also that look best on me. He also provides exceptional follow up. I would not go anywhere else. I've never looked so rested an youthful!

i got 4 procedures with Dr. hove at Monarch med spa 4 months ago face lift , nose surgery , brow lift and forehead implant of 3 of procedures came out not perfect but ok but my forehead implant came out really terrible make me look like monster now. I came back to see him again with the bad result to see what he gonna tell me , what he offered me was he will fix it for me but he will charge me for another 2,800$ after i paid 17,000$ for all procedures. No resiponsibility at all only bussiness from him and Monarch med spa. such terrible experiences i ever had i end up sue him now. Stay away from Monarch med spa they give give you bad service .
