Dr. Christopher P Kellner, MD

Dr. Kellner is an excellent surgeon and a very caring man. He helped my wife during and after my emergency surgery for when I had a stroke. During the past two years, since my stroke, we had regular meetings with him. He has been exemplary each time. He has a knack for making families and patients comfortable without giving them false sense of the security nor giving them sense of excessive worry. In conclusion, I would say he is an excellent surgeon and a very caring man.

Dr. Christopher Kellner is indeed the most treasured of all Doctors that I have been privileged to meet. Dr. Kellner treated my mother as family. He consistently displayed a genuine concern from the my mother arrived to Mount Sinai West and he saved her life multiple times. Besides being a competent, extraordinary knowledgeable and a superior surgeon above all he is filled with kindness and compassion. Dr. Kellner and his powerful neurological team worked endless to help my mother and he was with us every step on the way. He listened, respected our wishes and consistently educated us to help make the hard decisions and get through the many difficult times and for that we are and will be grateful and appreciative. First of all, I want to thanks Dr. Keller to save my mothers life. He is an extraordinary doctor and person. You can experience with him not only a great person but a person who really cares about your needs. Is hard to find a doctor who really take personal care In your case and he is the right example of not only profesional but a sensible person who really care about his patients. Thank you so much . On the night my mother had her stroke we rushed her to Mt Sinai West. We were told action had to be taken asap. In the waiting room we expected to worst. Thankfully Dr. Kellner performed the life saving surgery that gave our mother her life back. After the procedure he showed us via a before and after screen on his phone, the arteries, the blood flow, and where the blockage was removed. Two months later mom is alert and thriving and her motor skills are stronger by the day. Dr. Kellner, in a follow up visit, walked us through the procedure, educating us on how the brain operates, how stroke victims are affected, and how to provide the care and attention our mom would need going forward. His professionalism and compassion, along with the dedication of his team were inspiring and reassuring to all of us. Thank you Dr. Kellner

I wish I could give Dr. Kellner more than five stars because to me, he's a 10 out of 5! My father suffered a mini-stroke while recovering from open-heart surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Not only did Dr. Kellner and his incredible team respond immediately (at 2AM!)... he was able to locate the clot and used groundbreaking technology to aspirate it, returning blood flow to my dad's brain. Every second counted and Dr. Kellner saved my dad's life. And it doesn't stop there. After the procedure, he took the time to explain to me and my family step-by-step what he did, even going so far as to create a Power Point presentation with photos, captions and a video of the procedure! Dr. Kellner went on to visit my dad every day as he recovered and spent as much time as we needed to feel comfortable. The combination of expertise in his field, and his friendly, caring demeanor make Dr. Kellner on-in-a-million. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

My husband suffered from a severe brain bleed as well as needing repair of an AVM (a bulging of the vessel in his brain that he was born with). Dr. Kellner treated these problems with the utmost professionalism. He kept the family in the loop every step of the way. You felt you could trust him as soon as you met him. I thank God he was there when my husband crashed. He is the BEST!

Dr. Kellner was very thorough in the explanation of my medical condition and surgeries. He is very kind and caring and took time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. I am very fortunate and happy to have Dr. Kellner as my doctor. I highly recommend him to others.

I dont trust alot of people with my life but Dr. Kellner I completely trust . He made sure I was good even after the surgery and I can call him anything if I have any problems or questions .
