He graduated College Magma cum Laude from Yale University in 1971, graduated Duke University medical school in 1975 and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Colorado in 1978. Dr. Khoury worked as a staff psychiatrist at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center before moving to Escondido. Dr. Khoury enjoys many outdoor activities and has been an active volunteer for many years with the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, including three years as President. He and his wife live in Escondido and have two adult children.
