Dr. Christopher King, MD

Dr. King gave my husband and I the most detailed explanation of my MRI that we have ever experienced. After years, I finally understand all that is wrong with my spine/back/hip. Many questions were answered for me. He was also very personable and made us completely relaxed. This kind of effective communication is sorely missing in the medical field these days. I have had to talk to many doctors in the last three years so I know what I'm saying.

My consultation with Dr King took place at the Moorland Medical facility. I was pleased with Dr King and the time he spent reviewing, explaining and answering my questions from a MRI disk. He explained the images from the disk in a manner that I was able to understand.

Dr. King ordered the necessary MRI to show what was happening in my back. During the consultation he explained the MRI results to me and my family so we understood. He was thorough in explaining future treatment options. My family and I left his office knowledgeable and confident with his information.

I was first referred to Dr. King 2 years ago for neck pain. Dr. King reviewed my MRI with me in detail and went over his surgical recommendation. I decided to think about it and returned again last week due to increase in neck pain, numbness and tingling in my arms. Dr. King again reviewed my old MRI with me and we discussed the surgery in detail. I needed to get an updated MRI which I got today and will see him next week for the results and will probably schedule surgery. I have talked to many people over the last 2 years and Dr. King comes highly recommended. He was very good at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand and makes me feel less nervous about having neck surgery.

On time, comfortable and Dr was very informative and competent. He took time to explain the MRI pictures in detail. He spoke knowledgably of the prognosis and possible treatment.

Doctor King is very thorough. He asked a lot of questions. And, asked me to move my arms and legs. I have been and continue to be very pleased with his care.

Dr King has ALWAYS been a top-notch neurosurgeon for me - starting with neck surgery over 10 years ago. I would highly recommend him to ANYONE. He even spotted something my primary care doctor did not - high blood pressure - and recommended immediate treatment - for which he himself called my regular doctor :) THANK YOU AGAIN for the great service.

My husband and I felt we had all our questions answered. Great bedside manner! Time didn't seem to be an issue. I am in the medical field and my husband isn't. The conversation was tailored so that we could both understand. Options were offered. Kind and compassionate surgeon and we also valued the sense of humor. The nurse who checked us in, Jen, was kind, jovial and respectful.

Everything was great. I liked Dr. King's personality. Too many doctors are standoffish. Dr. King's review of my MRI was very informative and very well explained as were my options for treatment.

The meeting was very informative and helped me in making my decision. Dr King preformed surgery on me approx 11 years ago and there was never a question as to whom I felt confident to preform this procedure.
