Around here, it takes a referral to see a surgeon. Without it, you don't go. I suffered for YEARS before I finally managed to convince a doctor to refer me to a surgeon. Hard to believe, since my problems resulted DIRECTLY from an injury to the lower abdomen, at a spot where I had had a previous surgery! I wanted Dr. Moheimani to have a look. I was even willing to pay out of pocket. All through the visit, I thought he had a condescending attitude. I did not think he was listening to a word I said. Mostly he talked about how accomplished he was. I repeatedly tried to turn his attention to my case. He asked what I did for a living. When I told him, he turned up his nose as if I could not understand what he does! Is it so unusual for a patient who has suffered for years without relief, to have done some research on their own? Is it so hard to believe that mistakes were made when the accident first occurred? At one point he told me, "That doesn't… happen." I had in my pocket at the time, a document that proved him wrong, but I realized it was futile to show it to him. He pulled out an anatomy book and thumbed through it, without commenting , as if to say, "Look at me, I understand this stuff." (BIg wooop. I've seen plenty of anatomy books, dating back to high school.) At the end of our time, the doctor refused to help me, dashing my hopes. Judging by the conclusion he came to, he had never listened to a single word I said. As far as I am concerned, he couldn't have been more wrong if I had walked in with a bone sticking out of my forehead, and told me I had a cold. This "consultation cost several hundred dollars. What did he DO for me?

As soon as you have some psychology knowledge,you understand that the only thing that he is interested in is to impress you. His medical reasoning is so limited. He is capable of taking your gallbladder out just because you, the patient think that you might need it. He is dangerous

This doctor performed my husbands surgery and my procedures. My mother will also be seen and treated by him. He is very professional, caring and funny. Really knows how to put a person at ease.
