Terrible experience, I waited two hours because he was in surgery and then he had no time for me. He said he would get back with me and never did. Very arrogant and did not listen to one word I said. It was like I was not even there.

Run to another surgeon! Fast! I went to this doctor to pursue surgical options for my severe GERD which has caused chronic esophagitis. He spent a grand total of 5 minutes with me, and 10-20 seconds scrolling quickly through previous testing. In no one's world can you make an accurate diagnosis or conclusion by quickly scrolling through reports and even worse: his ultimate conclusion was nearly a polar opposite what all test results revealed. He just didn't want to bother with me or maybe he had a bad day, however, this is just unacceptable. Maybe he even read the wrong report- wouldn't surprise me. Then, he said he would "talk" to my referring doctor, and then call me in a week. The phone call NEVER came, and the referring doctor did not talk to him. Only an office note was provided. This is sleazy and dishonest. Meanwhile, another flare up of esophagitis and no one cares to do anything about the GERD that is causing the problem. Run to another surgeon! Don't waste your time. If I… could have given him 0 starts, I would have.

This doctor spent a grand total of 5 minutes with me. He used about 10-20 seconds of that time scrolling (literally scrolling) through my test results, and reached a conclusion that was NOT supported by all the testing I have had done. In fact, his conclusion was almost polar opposite. I see many positive reviews here, but it does not match my experience. Maybe he was rushed, and didn’t want to bother - I don’t know. Meanwhile, I am experiencing severe Esophagitis from severe GERD and he does not want to bother. When you have esophagitis, you can not swallow due to the burning. Can’t even eat and he doesn’t want to bother. He also said he would call within a week to talk to me again. He did not. He wrote a note. He spent more time writing his note than he did examining me. Don’t waste your time with this doctor. Not worth it.

10 years ago 3 other specialists gave my husband very little chance of survival. However, due to the expertise of Dr. Morse and Dr. Yen Lin Chen, he is a healthy and happy man looking forward to his 82nd year of life. We are forever grateful.

Dr Morse is an amazing surgeon. He has a wonderful bedside manner too. He saved my life from esophageal cancer (and quite a few others in the ECAA Facebook group!). I've almost hit the 5 year mark, and I've got Chris to think for that.

Following my mother's diagnosis, we interviewed multiple surgeons and, thankfully, chose Dr. Morse. He explained all aspects of the necessary operation, and what to expect pre- and post-op. And he had the expertise to perform the surgery laparoscopically, which we're sure shortened recovery time, and minimized the risk of complications. We're now 18 months post-op, Mom is cancer-free, and we know we made the right decision in choosing Dr. Morse.

I highly recommend Dr. Morse. He has terrific bedside manner and is a genius in his field. I am so happy we chose him to care for my husband. He is a 10.

This guy is a god and an artist

Dr. Morse was unbelievable. He was always there to answer my questions, to make me feel at ease. I was very nervous about my operation, and he took the time to explain things to me over again. He is extremely skilled and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I would recommend him to anyone who needs thoracic surgery !

Dr. Morse is exceptional. He was so patient with my father and the surgery he performed made a huge difference in his quality of life. He, and his entire team, truly could not have been any nicer or more patient.
