Dr. Olcott has replaced both of my hips in the span of 18 months. My experience with Dr. Olcott, his staff, and the UNC Orthopedic Hospital in Hillsborough, NC has be outstanding! I have found him to be caring, concerned and always professional. He will be performing knee replacement surgery on me prior to the end of 2019. I wouldn't want anyone else to operate on my lower body joints.

Totally satisfied with the entire experience! Loved the care in the specialized hospital. His attention to avoiding infection was greatly appreciated, Would highly recommend!

Dr. Olcott was extremely knowledgeable and, more importantly, took the time to explain a difficult diagnosis with me. I had previously seen another doctor who didn't listen to my concerns and it was refreshing to speak with a doctor willing to take as much time as necessary to make certain I understood the dynamics of my particular case. I have happily scheduled my surgery with Dr. Olcott and am confident that I have the best orthopedic surgeon. I would unequivocally refer people to Dr. Wolcott.

Dr. Olcott is absolutely the best dr I've ever been to. My husband and I both had hip replacement and we now drive 3 hours just to see Dr. Olcott. His staff is not only very professional but super personable. He is the best!

Dr. Olcott seemed to think I was there to get his opinion on whether I needed a total knee replacement and because he did not think I was a candidate, that was it. He did nothing to tell me what I could do to help with my excruciating knee pain! I went to Duke and they helped me out. A shame since I retired from teaching at UNC and UNC hospital! I should have asked for my money back! Go to Duke!
