Dr. Christopher Kennerly Payne, MD

Dr Christopher Payne is a very intelligent man who knows what he is doing. He simplifies complicated matters and sometimes even seems to do the impossible. When I was facing an issue that no other doctor could find a solution for, Dr Payne did and basically turned my life around for the better. This review is not enough to thank him but its the least I can for such a great doctor.

Seeing Christopher K. Payne was the worst medical visit that I have ever experienced. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. For some unknown reason he was angry and he rushed the examination to the point that I was in terrible pain. He took out his anger on me, his patient, who he took an oath 'To Do No Harm'. During the exam he brought in a female in the room who I presume was the medical assistant, and a fellow who was a medical student. The exam was horrific and Dr.(term used loosely) Payne was well aware that he was being rough and hurting me. The young lady and the medical student were aware of Payne's behavior as they kept looking at each other with incredulity. He was very rough and after the exam I was barely able to walk to my car due to severe pain. I had to stop in the bathroom because I felt like I was going to faint. When I was able to collect myself, I slowly walked to my car and I called home to speak with my Mom. I was crying and in a state of disbelief. The… pain persisted for days and I felt bruised inside. At a later date during my visit with my regular OBGYN I told her of the incident. She said that at the least he should be reported to the medical board. I regret that I did not report him. The community is small and I did not want any repercussions. He should change his specialty as he is not fit to deal with female urology issues. Do NOT see him for Interstitial Cystitis or any other urology problems. He should be called Dr. Pain!

Dr. Payne is a caring professional who did a fantastic job at finding the health issues and a solution. He is a great Doctor, a person with a very kind heart and wonderful bedside manner. THank you, You are my hero!

I feel just the opposite of the former bad review. Dr. Payne was kind, compassionate, and gentle to me, and his nursing staff has been wonderful.

Dr. Christopher Payne treated me as though I was not a human being. He spoke down to me, chastised me, and spoke badly of me to his student right in front of me. He told me that my bladder condition was my fault and that I was too sensitive. He did not warn me that a student would be participating in conducting my pelvic exam along with him, which was terribly embarrassing for me. Christopher Payne is awful from my point of view. In terms of bedside manner, it's the worst I've ever seen.
