Dr. Christopher Duane Raeburn, MD

I had a complete thyroid removal in 2012 and recall Dr. Raeburn being kind, compassionate, and caring. My endo doc said if she were having the same procedure, that she would select Dr. Raeburn. The reason I'm writing this almost 10 years later is because my scar has all but vanished, and I've had others with similar procedures that have had huge scars/openings and not as great experiences. I can attest that you'll be in good hands with him.

Dr. Raeburn was beyond patient with my many questions and concerns. He took the time to address them all, repeatedly, and did a remarkable job on my surgery. He was kind and appropriately funny, which helped to ease my anxiety. He outlined all of the scary risks of the procedure thoroughly, yet was careful and conscientious during surgery, and not a one came to pass. He even made my old scar look better than before!

You may not remember , Kind Sir, saving my wife's life but I still recall and thought to thank you some 7 years later ! Linda and I were on our way to Alaska when she had part of a scheduled a "Routine " Colonoscopy... The surgeon shoved the camera through her abdominal wall and she went into "Severe Septic Shock" . Dr. Raeburn was a great surgeon! Dr. Rayburn was informative, professional and had a very kind bedside manner. I have referred a friend and will again if anyone finds they need Thyroid surgery. My scar is also very insignificant. THANK YOU Dr. Raeburn!!! ??

My appendix burst and this man saved my life..great bedside manner. He allowed me to stay a little longer until I was comfortable enough to care for myself at home. I'm up and around now, and I have him to thank for it!
