Dr. Christopher Robert Ropiak, MD

Dr Christopher Robert Ropiak is very professional at all times. He cares about his patients by listening and providing good advice with what’s going on with his patients. The thing I like most about Dr Ropiak is when he finishes with his patients he always take notes with his tablet about what’s going on with me so when I come into my next appointment he can reflect back to where we left off from my last visit. Thank you Dr Ropiak!

Dr. Ropiak and his staff was great. They went over and beyond to welcome me, explain everything in detail and answered all my questions.

Professional staff wait time was prompt. Dr. Ropiak is always professional kind quite thorough. I am happy with the fact that he wants to treat the patient and listens to them if they are not ready for surgery. He has given me the shots and my relief is almost immediate. I highly recommend him honestly he was recommended to me best advice from one of his satisfied patients.

Dr Ropiak is very professional, knowledgeable, respectful with his patients. I was in his office with my husband. Doctor answered all my questions about the treatment for my husband and if he needs the surgery in the future. I will recommend this doctor.

I do not recommend this doctor for several reasons. The way the doctor's office members manages his patients is awful. I would argue that the way the doctor's staff works and conducts themselves tells you a lot about the doctor and his priorities. I was waiting with my mother for over an hour at the doctor's office until my mother got called in. My mother and I was on time for the appointment. Everyone else who came after me, had been able to see the doctor before my mother and they had waited a significantly shorter amount of time to see the doctor. I had this problem several times at the doctor's office, where I was with my mother and the receptionist was totally ignorant of my concerns. After waiting for an hour to see this doctor and getting literally a five minute consultation, I called my father. My father had some follow up questions for the doctor regarding my mother's problem. The receptionist at the office thinks he's the doctor and when I went to tell him that I'd like to… speak to the doctor he said he could answer my questions. He did not allow me to see the doctor. I have noticed that each and every time I am there with my mother, she is being treated as a second class citizen. I had waited 2 hours in another visit at the same doctor's office but with another doctor that Dr. Ropiak had recommended we go to regarding the foot. At this visit, I waited a total of 2 hours. On this visit, I also requested for a copy of all of the X-rays on file for my mother on the visits she had with each doctor. I was waiting for a copy for my mother's x-rays. The staff was terrible and had said that they would put all of her x-rays on the CD Disk, including the one's that was taken during the visit with Dr. Ropiak. I looked at the name on the CD and it said that it was the X-rays of the foot, but I also needed the X-rays that was taken from Dr. Ropiaks visit and they did not include that so they had to rectify this issue and that also prolonged my visit. I was very clear earlier that I wanted all of the X-rays from both visits. Not only is the staff careless, but so is the doctor. He does not look at all of the information regarding my mother's past medical history. He recommended we go to a Cardiologist in a previous visit and we had, but he failed to look at the information that they had provided him, until I brought it to his attention. I told the Cardiologist and his staff that Dr. Ropiak had recommended him, so I was a 100% sure that this Cardiologist had sent Dr. Ropiak the information. (The Cardiologist and his staff were very professional, unlike the staff Dr. Ropiak employed.) The fact that Dr. Ropiak almost missed this information that he had initially wanted us to gain from the Cardiologist, tells me that he is negligent. All in all, I am just stupefied at the doctor's negligence and the staff's conduct. In a previous visit, I recall waiting in line to hand in the filled out medical information on the iPad on behalf of my mother and one staff member was understandably busy looking through paperwork, while the other was having a conversation with his friend who came into the office just to chat with him. What they were chatting about was totally irrelevant to his job. He totally ignored me needing to hand in the iPad with the medical information on it. I was so shocked that the receptionists conduct themselves like this because there are some patients in this particular visit who are waiting to get up and talk to the receptionist, but they cannot because he is too busy chatting to his friend and not doing his job. These are patients who also might not want to get up and stand for a long time because they are orthopedic patients and are justifiably not able to stand for long! His friend should not be talking up a storm through the receptionist window, refraining other patients from asking any questions. When I confronted them about this, his friend was not happy and continued talking to the receptionist and the receptionist did not care. After about 15 minutes, his friend left and then said so patronizingly, "Your patients are crazy. I'll let you get back to your 'patients.'" How are these receptionists even employed here? I was not surprised when my father came home one day and told me he called to make an appointment but was on the phone and the person he was talking to was in a conversation with his colleague about something unrelated and did not properly speak to him. What if somebody called regarding an emergency health problem? I can tell you that the staff does not care and the doctor does not either.

Great knowledgeable doctor

Very please with the service and attention given by Dr Ropiak. He listened to me explain what was ailing me and other details I provided that I feel were helpful in the Dr Dx & treatment. As much as I hope I don't have to come back, should I have to I am only willing to see Dr Ropiak. Thank you
