Felt like a joke when he cam into the hospital. Jumped to conclusions and could not diagnose TMI. Go somewhere else

He is literally clueless. He needs to go back to school, because he is not up-to-date AT ALL. He seems nice, but so is a snake oil salesman. I could have had a more accurate diagnosis from our cat. A TOTAL waste of time.

I went to see him for chronic neck pain and walked away in tears with orders for a silent stroke work up. All tests were negative yet he still insisted I had had one or more silent strokes. What a rude and arrogant man.... Also, quite a few of my appointments were canceled by the office. I'm DONE, going to see another neurologist to confirm he was wrong. P.S. - one star is generous...

Cancelled three consecutive appointments at the last minute because he was "tied up" at the hospital. Kept the fourth appointment, 40 minutes late. Feel sorry for his staff for having to face the patients with all the cancellations. Told a patient he had a silent stroke, went through all the tests and it was not true..patient sent a complaint to the lo cal newspaper. Told my partner he had a silent stroke, went through all the tests, and it was not true. He finally kept an appointment with me and told me I had a silent stroke and need lots of tests. Showed things on the write up that were the opposite of what he had told me. Real showman, rude, and does not listen to the patients at all...wants to make everyone else feel stupid. I just had a complete cardiac work up, am fine, but he says he needs his own tests because he would be looking for different things. Goodbye to him. Does not even deserve a one star.

Very unprofessional and rude. Have since seen another neurologist who acted like a doctor instead of a used car salesman. Dr Valencia made an incorrect assumption/diagnosis. Very arrogant and on an ego trip!..stay away

This doctor is truly amazing. His bedside manner could be a little less cocky but he definitely knows his stuff. He is like a doctor dictionary. He diagnosed everything about me in about 5 minutes of just speaking with me. Very blunt but very funny. If you dont have a sense of humor he may not be the doctor for you. But I would definitely recommend him to all of my friends.

Told me I had a stroke, even after mri. Diagnosis same for 4 months until I went to another neurologist. I was told I never has a stroke. Ruined 4 months of my life worrying I had a stoke and wondering if I was going to have another. Anyone going to him should get a second opinion! !
