Calm, professional and caring.

Dr Wirsing delivered my first born and now I am currently seeing again during my second pregnancy. He takes time with me during each appointment. I appreciate that he is simply a gentleman. He is calm and easy going. He also delivered both my sisters over 25 years ago! I completely trust him!

Awesome Doctor. Doesn't rush me out the door, very professional. Very polite. He delivered my daughter & also tied my tubes, hardly no wait time in the lobby, very polite staff. Would defiantly recommend him!!

No i would not recommend this dr. When i was pregnant with my 5 year old and complaining about having contractions he told me my uterus was tired and i needed rest. I went straight to the hospital because what he said sounded crazy, and guess what i was contracting! Had my daughter the next day, delievered by dr. Jones!

My first two appointments were in the Valpo office. The staff was kind and very prompt. They answered questions and made me feel very comfortable. I also had a minor surgical procedure that went well. The staff at Lake Park Surgical Center were very nice and courteous. Dr. Wirsing is the first man I've seen for any gynecology issues. He's very patient, nice, kind hearted and seems to be caring. Unfortunately my last appointment was in the Hobart office and I waited over an hour to see the doctor. There was no reason given by the office staff nor any apologies made. I will strive to see him in Valpo if possible going forward.

Dr Wirsing is a wonderful Dr. I was a patient of Dr Jones and I had a bad experience with her so when I had a schedule treatment with her and she was not in and Dr Wirsing stepped in, his professionalism and honesty was all I needed to become a patient of his.. I have recommended a couple of my friends to him and when my child is older she will also go to him.. I have a history of cancer and I have been going through some scary moments and he takes the time to listen and talk to you.. Absolutely love him!!

I absolutely love Dr. Wirsing. He is always professional and a very active listener. He asked questions and answers all questions asked of him. You never feel like he is in a rush to move on to the next patient. He has performed several surgeries on me and each one he was terrific. I have never had a bad experience with him. His bedside manner is great. He is a little quirky but I like that about him. He is very soft spoken and makes you feel comfortable talking to him about anything. I always encourage people to go to him. He is now my daughter's doctor and even took care of her during her pregnancy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wirsing for over 22 years. He took care of me during good & almost fatal times. His professionalism and experience kept me calm and pulled me through some of the worst times in my life. He cares about his patients and their well being in or out of the hospital. He has performed some surgeries on me when necessary and his skills as a physician and surgeon proving again how professional, skillful and compassionate he is. Whether in the office or hospital he makes sure that his patients are well cared for by himself & any staff that has contact with his patients. He has a pleasant bedside manner and allows his patients to ask questions and discuses procedures ahead of time. I recommend him to any woman regardless of age, fertility issues, pregnant or beyond childbearing years. He was there for me through all of the above stages of my life so I recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Wirsing has been my OB/GYN for 23 years. I was a high risk pregnancy patient before I walked into his office and I knew it would be a difficult road. He provided excellent care during my very difficult pregnancies and miscarriages. He has performed aspiration and surgical biopsies, a tubal and a partial hysterectomy on me. He found lumps in my breasts when they were tiny and followed up after all my procedures. He reviews your chart, asks questions, allows you the time needed to ask questions. If there is a concern he reviews it with you. He assures his patients receive the best care at his office and at the hospital. He is willing to work with his patients and their insurance. I strongly recommend him.
