All the staff with the Trauma Clinic was wonderful during our stay at UT Hospital. From the time I was rushed in by ambulance after being hit by a car to the 11th day when I was released. Very caring and checked on me everyday.

if not for her knowing what was wrong w/ me I would have died as in several other dr's over a 10 yr period of time mis-diagnosed me having a dying gall bladder

Dr. Lawson is wonderful! She took the time to answer all of my and my family's questions. She was caring and knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable. You can tell she really cares about her patients and loves what she does. No one wants to have surgery but if I ever need surgery again I would request Dr. Lawson!

She didnt have time to look at my brother's x-rays, after she realized he went to the methadone clinic, I believe he became a stupid drug addict that was not to be listened to. He was trying to relay a back pain to her that he believed was related to his colon problem. She blew him off, told him it wasnt related and said you will need to get another doc for your back. She would not listen and she said I can't give you anything for the pain. HE WASN'T ASKING FOR PAIN MEDS AND EVEN TOLD HER THIS. Ended up in the hospital New Years Eve with his colon ruptured and yes the back pain was related. she was negligent and didnt listen to her patient. Of course they must not have any brains. Don't see me if you havent read my X-rays and scans. Don't talk down to your patients - they know their body better than you. So listen, this could have cost my brother his life. The follow-up was critical so treat it as such.
