Dr. Christy Richardson, MD

I want to give a shot out today to a Phenomenal Physician that I'm so thankful to have on my Care team. Her name is Dr. Christy Richardson. She's an Endocrinologist on staff at SSM DePaul and she's Phenomenal. Not only is she highly skilled but her bedside manner is impeccable. Her case load was extremely backlogged today as it always is (that's one clue you're dealing with a good doctot) but she made time on her schedule to fit me in because she was concerned and wanted to meet with me to discuss my health issues. I thank God for her and Dr's like her with compassion and grace. We always remember the bad but need to remember to give credit where credit is due. Thank you Dr. Richardson, I'm blessed to know you ? If anyone is looking for a good Endocrinologist look no further.

I,ve been going to Richardson for over 15 years. I think I've been a challenge for her. She has helped me immensely. I think she's a great Dr. and she is easy to talk to.

I am a Type 1 diabetic using an insulin pump. While I was on vacation my pump broke, the back of it literally popped off. I needed a long lasting insulin to use since I could not use my pump. I called my doctors office which happened to be closed so I opted to have the on call doctor paged. Dr Richardson finally returned my page after I had to call twice. I know on call Dr's do not like to take pages regarding filling a prescription but given the circumstances I was in I had no other choice. I could not believe how rude, insensitive and judgmental she was. I am not the best patient when it comes to seeing my doctor regularly, I know that, but she was more focused on that than wanting to help me. She repeatedly cut me off and talked down to me. I needed her help, not her judgment.

I love Dr. Richardson! She's an extremely thorough physician and has an excellent manner with her patients putting them at ease with even the most serious medical conditions.

I have been seeing Dr. Richardson for about 7 years and I just love her. She is an excellent physician and she even tries her best to help out if I am in a financial slump with finding more economical medications and treatments that still get the job done.

Richardson is the worst ever.

I really like Dr. Richardson, but the staff does not return calls, respond to messages on MyChart or follow-up in a timely manner when I do call and need something such as a blood test req.
