Dr. Christy Taylor Risinger, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Christy Risenger. She takes time to listen to her patient and is a very caring doctor.

Dr. Risinger was filling in for my Mom's regular doctor this past Friday and she was TERRIFIC. She spent a lot of time with us understanding the issues of the day (cough, Parkinson's Disease, COPD and a hernia!), was very compassionate and caring, and gave us great guidance, prescriptions and a referral.

Very Thorough.. Listens and Remembers everything you say.. Her patients are lucky to have her as their Doctor..

Dr. Risinger is a horrible doctor and has no caring bedside manner or empathy for patients. She is very controlling and does not listen to feedback from patients and what they have to contribute to your overall health .I have had a dozen nurses at Seton Topfer community clinic complain about how she treats them and they have had to quit because of her. They have told me to stay away from her. She has called my mother on the phone at 8 pm on a restricted phone number and cussed her out while she was going through chemo and cancer surgery because of a medication that her colleague gave my mother and blamed my mother for it. Very unprofessional doctor. I should have listened to all of the nurses that warned us about her. By the way, she wasn't even my mother's doctor. Stay away from this doctor. She is dangerous. No empathy or dignity for patients.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Risinger to friends and family. She is easy to talk to and can provide immediate information even on some uncommon medical conditions. She explains if treatment is needed and the options available. Clear, printed results of the office visit are provided along with instructions for actions the patient needs to take.

Straight foward ness, knowlegable, good bedside manor, accurate with diagnosis, caring and professional. I am so grateful for her, Topfer Clinic, and all their employees. They are a great team!
