Dr. Carswell is amazing and her thorough treatment has changed my life.

Uncaring. She does not listen to patients and does not return calls. Prescribes huge amount of medication.

Very disappointing care. Does not listen to patient. Prescribes without thinking of side effects and does not return phone calls about meds

Dr. Carswell has always been one of my favorites. She cares for you-- not just treats you.

The visit was overall wonderful & I would suggest anyone looking for a great psychologist in the area to Dr. Carswell. She is sweet and informative!

For a doctor at one of the best psychiatric hospitals in the country (Mclean) I was surprised at Dr. Carswell's poor bedside manner. She was my admitting doctor and I expected her to be a bit more understanding and compassionate. Instead I found her to be arrogant and condescending.In fairness to McLean, I found all of the other psychiatrists to be professional and attentive.
