Dr. Clara Ji Chae, MD

Please, please, please do not go to this doctor. Save yourself some time and money. There were many incidents I had with her. First, when we spoke about genetic testing, I asked if it was possible to get none invasive testing if my test results came back abnormal, even if I had to pay I wouldn't have minded. She said no, that we would need to do the needle test. Second red flag, I had a yeast infection but I wasn't 100% sure. Went in asking for help and she literally said “ I doubt you have one but we will do a test” 24 hours later it was confirmed I did. I went out of my way to get my own meds, other wise I would have been hanging around for a whole day with pain. Biggest red flag, she will make you have NSTs (nonestress test) after 31 weeks pregnant EVERY week.There is no reason to have these test weekly unless you are high risk. She does it to scam your insurance. I went through a scare and have since changed providers at 32 weeks. She is rude, an treats your opinion as inferior.

I went to her 3 times before I switched. I am glad I did, because I had to find out from my new OB that I had a 5 inch cyst even though I had an ultrasound with Dr.Chae and she never told me the results. She truly is the worst doctor I have ever seen. If I could petition to get her medical license taken away I would do it.

To summarize my experience this "doctor" examined me for less than 15 seconds and assumed I had cervical cancer. Didn't even touch. She said to me "you have cancer, I'll be leaving for the holidays and be back in three weeks. Come back then for a biopsy". And then she left the room. I kid you not. DO NOT GO SEE THIS TRASH. Took a week for me to be able to see someone else, with a week's worth of panic, I went to see Dr. Yeo (highly recommended) who told me that there was nothing to warrant Dr. Chae's diagnosis but just to ease my mind we should do a biopsy. No cancer. She is not only unprofessional and absolutely careless, but she is also dangerous. Say she tells a low-income woman, with mouths to feed, with no insurance, that she needs an expensive procedure done without really needing it? What then? Is the doctor responsible for that patients bills? I am lucky in the sense that I have insurance. But that's not the case with everyone. Dr. Chae needs to be banned from… practicing medicine. DO NOT GO SEE HER...Go see Dr. Yeo.

I have had such poor experiences with Dr. Chae. As stated in other reviews, she is incredibly rushed. I left every appointment with so many questions. She is more reactive to your health issues than proactive. After having surgery I continued to experience severe pain. I saw her for 2 additional appointments where I described my ailments and she told me to go the hospital if I was in pain. Find another doctor!

This is by far the most unprofessional doctor I have ever experienced. If you care about your health or well being find another doctor. She wouldn't answer any questions regarding the issue I was there for and said to come back in six weeks and we could discuss it then. If you won't have a conversation regarding why I am here on the first visit, why would I return.

I wasn’t surprised with the other reviews here as they are all very accurate with regards to Dr. Chae’s inattentiveness to patients to include myself. Every appointment was rushed, she would speak in a condescending tone, and did as little as she could. I am 4 months into my pregnancy and as much as I tried to stick it out I just cannot do it to myself or my baby, I’m in the process of changing doctors right now - I’d rather deal with the hassle of that than stay and accept the disservice I am receiving.

I will give you some advice that will help you with your health. Please seek another Dr. She is one of the worst doctors I've had in my 45 years of living. All she want is the money she does not show that she cares about her patients. If you're having problems and you called her office she will tell you to go to urgent care.. and if she make an appointment for you she will only spend about 2 to 3 minutes with your care. Please seek a more qualified caring doctor

I hate to have to write a poor review, however my experience with Dr. Chae was not a good one. The appointment was very rushed and she seemed frustrated by my questions regarding an issue I was concerned about. I left the appointment very upset. The only helpful thing was the girls at the front desk. They were very sweet and gave me more information than Dr. Chae or the nurses. I am switching doctors.

First of all, she walked in with her beach flip flops...not professional. Visit was rushed, was not informative at all, and does not seem to care about the patient. The girls at the front desk were amazing! Sad I can’t say the same about Dr. Chae. I immediately switched to another Dr.

She will make you feel like you are a homeless person off the street that needs Medical Care! I I'm having a lot of medical issues which may require a hysterectomy. To make a long story short. Your first office visit she will just take your money she will not even do a vaginal test until the second appointment. Very rude! Does not want to spend any time with you 2nd visit 5 minutes again so I found another doctor save your money she does not care about you!
