Dr. Clark specializes in colon and rectal surgery with unique skills in advanced care for inflammatory bowel disease, colon and rectal cancer, colonic polyposis syndromes, anal cancer and complex benign anorectal disorders. In addition he has given back to our Military community by serving in Department of Surgery at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System.He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Clark is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, a member of the Association of Academic Surgeons and served as an executive board member of the Association of Program Directors in Surgery. Dr. Clark has published many peer-reviewed and book chapters on the topics such as hemorrhoid surgery, robotic surgery for resident training, techniques in advanced coloproctology for fistulizing anorectal disease, colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and single incision laparoscopic colectomy among others.Dr. Clark's care philosophy is to treat every patient like they are a family member.
