Dr. Claudia Carolin Zacharek, MD

I first met Dr. Zacharek when I was hospitalized due to a combination of the flu, pneumonia, and kidney failure. She was assigned to me through the hospital and I am sure glad she was. She adjusted my medications and prescribed others that were gentle on my kidneys. That was four months ago and I have since been to visit her four times. Each time with the help of her superb abilities my kidney function has gone from a rating of kidney failure to low normal. Yes low normal, but the key word here is normal. I have been to other kidney doctors and each time all I received was diets and condemnation for not improving. Dr. Zacharek has always been very gentle, polite and supportive. I complement her and her staff at every visit. My kidney function continues to improve and I owe it all to her abilities and guidance. Thank you God for Dr. Zacharek.

not able to change incorrect information

I went in to see Dr. Zacharek not really sure why I was sent to see her, my family doctor had been sending me for test after test I had almost no knowledge why I was going for what. Dr. Zacharek asked me if I knew why I was there and what was going to happen after my visit I said no and she replied you will I will explain everything to you, and she did. Dr. Zacharek definitely cared about my well being and set me up with some other doctors to help my condition get corrected fast where others treated me like a number, before I left she said I am sorry you have so many bad things happen to you I started to cry but not because I was feeling sorry for myself but because I had never met a more caring person in my life like her.

This was one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She was on time. She was genuinely concerned about my welfare, and took the time to listen. Her office staff was wonderful to communicate with and the office is very clean and inviting.

Great Doctor and staff!! A Doctor and staff that cares! A rare combination know a days.

Dr Zacharek is one of a kind. She spent so much time explaining my problem, she was very patient with all my questions. She has communicated with my other doctors and has done a great deal to make sure my medicines are correct. If it wasn't for her, I would be on dialysis by now. She is a great doctor and truly cares.

My wife and I were very impressed with the great amount of time she spent with us; we were very worried prior to the appointment, and she explained everything to us and ease off our anxiety. My kidney function has improved since I started going to this clinc. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Great staff all the way around. Hands down the best nephrologist in the Tri Cities.
