Dr. Claudio Duarte was amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to explain in detail the risks and expectations of the illness my child could have. Will recommend him to others!

Seeing Dr Duarto for the very first time with my son was like a breath of fresh air! He took the time needed with us and I was super impressed! I've been looking for a doctor who listens for awhile for my son, and if every visit goes the same as it did yesterday he will be my sons new doctor! I was so relieved after leaving there this time! I had so much PEACE! Thank you!!!!

Rude and NASTY nurses. They are dishonest and shady. Will belittle you, try to fight with you by giving you fighting statements,NO MATTER HOW NICE YOU ARE. Nasty looks, never smile at you, look at you from the moment you walk in like they hate you. Snooty, and talk to you like you are stupid, when its obvious that a nurse who acts like that is a much less intelligent both in emotional maturity, management, and education. If you say hi you might get an eye roll, but as soon as the doctor walks by they change personalities. Most importantly, I did not like how my child was treated. Never gave any attention, and never addressed my concerns and I was constantly blown off and rushed out. It made me feel so bad that we were treated like garbage by people who are suppose to be looking out for the human race. Needs workers who are more professional & educated. Lacks organization. You can NEVER reach them. Karen, maybe? She is the kind of person I have fired many times in my organization.

Dr Duarte is awesome but the nurses and deb tierney are awful...

Awful!! Took my son in for poison ivy that had gotten infected. Got the run-around for 3 hours while they tried to send us to an ER in another town. (Dr. Duarte's office is in a hospital, mind you) Finally convinced him to just treat him there, then spent another hour waiting for that. Decided just to go to a different hospital (Petoskey) where they give him an oral antibiotic and sent us on our way. Karen from Dr. Duarte's office then called and harassed me 8-10 times/day demanding that I bring him back, then called CPS and reported me for medical neglect. Do NOT take your children there!! Even CPS agrees.

Wonderful doctor. The secretaries are rude, especially kerri. She acts annoyed that you call. Very unprofessional.
