Dr. Clifford George Andrew, MD

Dr. Clifford G. Andrew is a board certified neurologist. After graduating with an A.B. pre-medical degree in Chemistry from Columbia University in New York in 1968, he obtained joint M.D. and Ph.D. (Biochemistry) degrees in the Medical Scientist Training Program at Duke University in North Carolina in 1975. He served a Medical Internship there and then came to Johns Hopkins for his Neurology Residency in 1976 and Neuromuscular Fellowship in 1979.

He has been on the faculty at Johns Hopkins since 1980 as Assistant Professor of Neurology and continuing as Part-Time Assistant Professor of Neurology at Hopkins from 1986 to present. He established a full-time solo practice of Neurology in Severna Park Maryland in 1986. He served as Chairman of Education at Anne Arundel Medical Center from 1991 to 2011 and as Chairman of Continuing Medical Education at Baltimore Washington Medical Center from 1994 to 2006.

Dr Andrew received the Med-Chi Community Services Award in 1992 and again in …1999. He was elected “Best Physician” by Annapolitan Magazine in 2011; “Favorite Physician” by Family Magazine in 2012; the “Best Neurologist” in Annapolis in the May 2014 Capital Newspaper's Readers Choice poll; and the "Best Neurologist" in Anne Arundel County (out of thirty practicing neurologists) in the September 2014 Maryland Gazette Newspaper's Readers Choice poll.
