Horrible. The doctor looked at me for 2 minutes. $50 copay. Went in with cash and was told they didn’t take cash only check or card. After leaving I thought that makes sense since there’s a pandemic that they wouldn’t be taking cash. Then I received a bill in the mail with a $5 billing fee. Ridiculous that they are charging an unemployed person with a disability a $5 billing fee. I tried calling to pay with a card before Christmas and again before new years because I got a notice and their office was closed. Ironic. Called today and now they don’t take card only cash or check and the woman I spoke to told me that they never took card that they’ve always accepting cash or check. They don’t know what they’re talking about there. She also told me that they did not have any type of review site. Of course. And then she hung up without saying goodbye. No type of apology. I would never go back or recommend this doctors office to anyone. Who doesn’t take car now? It’s 2023! And then you want… to tell your customers that they need to be billed five dollars for a billing fee. Ridiculous.

Very indifferent bedside manner. Rushed through my exam in warp speed. Dismisses your questions abruptly and gets annoyed if you ask too many. He didn't even bother to closely inspect several skin lesions. Just did a quick cursory glance and diagnosis. A little too sure of himself. When I found out he misdiagnosed my condition he wouldn't admit it on a follow up visit. I decided to seek another dermatologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Berck for many years, and I have nothing but the finest things to say of him. He is very knowledgeable, professional and I have been treated respectfully on each visit. His staff have always been courteous and helpful. I trust his judgment over any other dermatologist!

Dr. Berck knows his stuff and he's the doctor to go to ensure you get 100% of the proper treatment.

Dishonest and cold bedside manner. He has blocked all the members of my family because he claims our co-pay was $50 when it was $40. He has been asking us for $10 since 2010, yet he will not accept our ind=fo on our card nor will he provide us with the documents showing our copay is $50.

I have been a patient of Dr. Berck for over fifteen years. Dr. Berck has successfully diagnosed and treated a number of dermatological issues that has affected me over the years. Some of my dermatology issues include: Basil Cell Carcinoma, Warts, Rashes, Staph infections, and a pre cancerous condition called Actinic Kerotosis. Often times I needed to see him immediately and his staff always makes an effort to squeeze me in. Dr. Berck is extremely busy and does not have time to socialize. However, I have never felt rushed and always feel Dr. Berck spends the necessary time to address the issue at hand. His staff is professional and is always courteous to me! Dr. Berck does not take credit cards which I do feel is a negative. He only accepts checks and cash! Overall, Dr. Berck may not win a personality contest, however, I highly recommend Dr. Berck to anyone looking for a knowledgeable Dermatologist who can correctly diagnose any and all skin conditions!

My Son was at Dr. Berck' office a few months ago called to renew a prescription for an acne face ointment. He is away at school (500 miles away), but the office insisted they could not refill the script unless he came in. Needless to say that was not an option. The staff was rude and abrupt to my teenage son. I called after my son gave me permission to talk on his behalf. They made the experience a nightmare. I asked for the doctor to call me, and they lied to me that the doctor was not in (I had been previously told that he was in all afternoon). Lies after lies, and the doctor never returned my call. This was crazy, all my son needed was a simple topical ointment, and my son had recently seen Dr. Berck. This practice has no compassion... it is all about the co-pay. Very rude and obnoxious office.

This doctor diagnosed me with an infection and sent me home with antibiotics. The correct diagnosis was cancer and I am not receiving radiation treatments. I received no apology from the doctor, no remorse in the misdiagnosis. He races you in and out of the office. Find a more attentive, compassionate doctor.
