Dr. Clinton Twaddell, MD

Dr. Clinton Twaddell is a board-certified surgeon and vein specialist with more than 30 years of experience in surgery, endoscopy, and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to patient care, with a focus on listening, efficiency, and honesty.

Dr. Twaddell earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed his general surgery residency at St. Paul Medical Center (now UT Southwestern). Over the course of his career, he has practiced in Texas, Wisconsin, and Arkansas, serving in both private practice and hospital leadership roles. He has held positions such as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at multiple hospitals, most recently at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, AR.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Twaddell has dedicated himself to global outreach. Since 2007, he has participated in annual medical mission trips to Guatemala, where he not only provided care but also mentored a …young assistant who went on to become a vascular surgeon himself.
